Where did you watch tonight's debate? Who did you watch it with? If you were with a group, what were your group demographics? Where are you (State and City if you want)?
TOPICS: News/Current Events; Political Humor/Cartoons
KEYWORDS: debate; politics; republican
For the first time, I watched with the South Peninsula Area Republican Coalition in Los Altos, CA. It was wonderful watching with a group of like-minded people who enjoyed some hooting & hollering. Great people, but the average age must have been 65 which is not a good sign. Only a few young people in their 40s and maybe one or two in their 30s. Group was not large...maybe 60 people. But it sure beat staying home and watching by myself. Nothing like kindred spirits and fellowship.

At home on the internet. My cable doesn’t provide CNN without a subscription, never missed it before.

In my den while dealing with plumbers trying to fix a big disaster upstairs and moderating a louder, more agressive debate in the backyard between two of my kids. I ended up finishing much later due to all the pausing.

I got home after the debate had started, I put together a stationary bike while watching it. Then I rode it for a half hour. And the debate was still going on and on and on and on.
3 hours? I could’a watched Ben Hur.

Missed most of it. Ghost Hunters reruns were more interesting.

Just curious. Republicans always seem to need more GOTV and community action. Seems like a great opportunity to begin building community support around defeating the Clinton Witch. Dems excel at whipping up support to a fever pitch at community events.

Didn’t watch it but received the same propaganda garbage by reading a piece written by a dingy feminist news hack.
No-vote.

I didn’t. Didn’t see the point of spending 3 hours when I could read a few comments here, read sundance’s article, check out a couple polls and be done with it.

I didn’t, I listened to Pandora and read a book. This morning I found out all I needed to know here on FR. Why watch 3 hours of CNN TV when you can understand what happened in 15 minutes?

I didn’t. I enjoyed the “Honeymooners” series with Jackie Gleason on DVD. It was funny, refreshing, and totally politically incorrect just as I remembered it.
