Wow, CNN really stepped up to provide a platform for an honest debate. All the moderators, including Hewitt, performed admirably.
If i was Trump, i would watch out. Paul doesn’t seem that stable.
Christie did well but wont matter. Cruz brilliant as always. I think Trump did fine.
The Carly Fiorina show was good, besides her praise of muslim culture in the past, her amnesty views, her destruction of every company she touches...
Except the early setup questions designed to wound Trump
It is still going on, but it has been a good discussion, and has an extra hour for such a large group of candidates.

Definitely better than Fox. Moderation was pretty transparent, as it should be. Problem is, there are TOO MANY PEOPLE ON STAGE. Cut it down to 6 so we can really get down to things.
The difference between Faux and CNN debates was stunning.

For the most part, it was attack DT.
I was so pathetic, I had to turn it off.
All this was, was the Left getting the Right to fight with each other. Nothing substantive about the issues at hand: the tyranny of the mostly unconstitutional $4 trillion federal government, abortion and unconscionable treatment of the unborn, economic disaster becasue of minimum ware, regulations, unions, and taxes (talked a little about that). But it is obvious that CNN’s marching orders were to keep the candidates fighting amongst each other - that way the real issues remain examined.

It really is a great debate, but I have been watching since 6 o’clock and am tired of it now.......It is too long but I understand why they had it so long. Great job CNN. Really fantastic. So glad that Walker had some good time this round.....Trump did well......Rubio did ok......Paul is whiny......Cruz somehow thinks he can control the Supreme Court.....good luck with that........he is not a dictator. The justices now won’t listen to him......Carley is poised.....Carson was ok......
The first half hour was devoted to try and baiting Trump and the other candidates to discuss (and rip) him. That was of course, to hook viewers who wanted to see mudslinging. A half hour wasted. It wasn’t until the second half hour they got around to serious questions.
Carly did good, BUT. they treated her special because she’s a women. No one interrupted her.

I dont think Trump did nearly as bad as a lot of other FReepers did. I like him but didn’t let it affect my judgement.
He survived blistering attacks pretty well and Cruz had his back.
I would LOVE to see Cruz in first place.
Too bad Wakler didn’t have more fire in the belly.
Good analysis of the debate. Trump always looks very grumpy. I think that angry look on his face will eventually cause him a loss of support. He seems to be a control freak.
