Mabus: No Exemptions to Keep Women Out of Infantry, SEALS Secretary of the Navy Ray MabusSecretary of the Navy Ray Mabus

SAN DIEGO Sep 16, 2015 | by Gretel C. Kovach

The Marine Corps infantry, Navy SEALs, and all other combat jobs in the Navy Department will open to women by the end of this year, and no exemptions to the new gender-neutral employment policy in the Defense Department will be granted despite results of a Marine Corps study on women in combat, Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus reiterated during a speech Monday in Cleveland.

Mabus expanded on his earlier remarks criticizing the lengthy Marine Corps experiment that compared all-male combat units to ones that included women. The Marines released a four-page summary of results last week indicating that all-male units performed significantly better on 69 percent of tactical tasks, and female troops were injured at more than twice the rate as men.

"This study served a very good purpose. It's come up with the standards, standards that have something to do with the job. Once you've done that I just see no reason to say 'because the average person, woman, cannot meet these, we're not giving anybody a chance,'" Mabus said.

Mabus: No Exemptions to Keep Women Out of Infantry, SEALs, Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus

Another Ivy league school educated doofus who is more interested in his political career than the best interests of the nation and it's armed services.

He is another Robert McNamara but not as smart.

When will it be made known that the entire unit those 2 women qualified with were given more rest and food that any other Ranger training unit EVER?

My only source is a radio caller who had talked w Senior NCOs at the training facility.

3rd hand? Yes, but, I certainly believe it!

This tells me that across the board standard lowering is coming so not just women, but sissy boys and maybe even handicapped persons can be in the units.

The important thing is that they will have finally achieved "Equality."

a more diverse force is a stronger force.

You see this assertion a lot. Where has this ever been proven correct?

That’s the same thing that the wives of firemen in NYC in the late ‘70s were concerned about. They were LIVID that women were being considered for the job...how were women going to lift a 230 pound guy with 60 pounds of clothing and equipment onto their shoulders and haul them down a ladder? They were, quite rightfully, concerned for their husbands’ lives.

Maybe Mabus is thinking that he can harness this kind of rage in several Marine PMS brigades:

“a 5’4” FEMALE Marine tries...”

You’re spotting her six inches. The minimum for female Marines is 4’10” and 91 pounds.

Ray Mabus = faggot.

So glad I'm not in the USMC infantry anymore. Send Mabus' candy ass to the next urban assault with his wymyn grunts.

Sounds like problem that solves itself.

So, do women have to register for Selective Service now?

Democrats have selective enforcement of the law, as needed at any point in time. In addition, doubt that Ray Mabus can connect those dots.

David Wilkerson (author of The Cross and the Switchblade) once prophesied Russia would eventually nuke us, and we wouldn't fire one shot in return. Once Russia sees our military turned into ishy-squishy lib-bots, they will take their shot.

In fact, I think they will be a stronger force, because a more diverse force is a stronger force.

Hmm.. I don't recall where I heard this, but: Diversity is an obstacle to overcome, not a goal to be achieved.

Catching up on things, and as a former Marine mom, you hit the bullseye. My son is 6’3” and I am 5’4” and there is no way I could budge him when he was 5’11’ and dead weight, except with a bulldozer.

An average, in shape, female is the equivalent of a 13 year old boy in strength and endurance.

The Chinese. The Russians. The Iranians. ISIS.

They're all laughing their azzes off about this.

But the American mothers and fathers with needless dead sons and daughters won't be. Neither will be the remaining military people going off into captivity - those who survive.

Leftist politicians? They think it is just "fair" wymyn will get that rank that has been denied them all these years by our patriarchal society and military.

Where can I go to get out of this nuthouse? I can't go to Germany or most of Europe (the desirable parts, anyhow) any more. They are toast too and for the same reasons. They are run by fools and idiots.
