I don't remember Mitt Romney campaigning on a battleship in 2012.

But I think we'll remember Trump.

All folks that love America and love all of our military folks, should turn out to seem hear, help Donald Trump, & aid our veterans!!! I hope there is a mighty turnout this evening, just as the battleship, ‘IOWA” was a symbol, of a once mighty America!!! A great turnout will caste egg all over the faces of Obama, Kerry, Clinton, etc., and the Democrat Party vermin who support these America Haters & Turncoats!!!

He introduced Ryan as his running mate on a battleship in Norfolk I think.

But I think we'll remember Trump.

Maybe not three years later.

He announced Paul Ryan as his VP on a battleship.
That’s all he did.

Trump is on the record for increasing our military capacity, and taking care of our veterans, and anyone who doesn't like that needs to give their head a shake.

They're all on record for increasing our military and taking care of out veterans. Trump doesn't stand out there.

Well you just go right ahead and vote for that pansy.

And you'll vote for the veteran Trump, with his five years of military school medals and all.

I watched an episode of Longmire last night. I love that show. It was the one about the Vets who are in trouble but can’t get help through the system.

I hope Trump really does something to help Vets.

I think he will keep his word on this one.

I’m one veteran who wouldn’t vote for Graham.

I'm a non-veteran who wouldn't vote for Graham. The fact that Ted Cruz didn't serve doesn't bother me. Nor does the fact that Ted Cruz doesn't pretend to have served, unlike Trump and his talk about his military school. I trust Cruz will do the right thing for the country. I trust that Trump will do the right thing...for Trump.

Look mutt, it is clear that you can’t see the forest for the trees (and all dawgs need a true from time to time).

When your candidate gets their numbers up there into Trump territory, get back to us ok?

Meanwhile, ask yourself this question: “do you really want to be making common cause with the rotten GOPe-RINO Axis of Oafs by default, with your continuous sniping at Trump?”

Trump is making their lives miserable, what’s the down side?

He really knows how to put on a show! The other candidates don’t have a chance.

I agree. Amazing how many of these “obsolete” systems turn out to have great value against 16th century opponents like ISIS and al-Qaeda. Think of the A-10, still a great airplane.

You're the one blindly following Trump and I'm the one who can't see the forest for the trees?

When your candidate gets their numbers up there into Trump territory, get back to us ok?

When Trump stops changing his positions every few weeks or months or years then maybe I'll pay attention to him.

Meanwhile, ask yourself this question: “do you really want to be making common cause with the rotten GOPe-RINO Axis of Oafs by default, with your continuous sniping at Trump?”

I have been, from the beginning, a Ted Cruz supporter. Once the clown show grinds to a halt then Cruz will be there to win the nomination. And at least with Cruz I never have to worry about explaining why my candidate said one thing one day, and something different a few days later.

Okay, we’re all getting your point that you don’t care for Trump.

You’ve been given the reasons for his speech being held on this battleship.

Are you against Trump raising funds for our veterans? I’d guess McRomeny didn’t offer any funds to our veterans, for any of his speeches. You seem to be the Romney expert, so maybe you know different.

Btw, who is YOUR guy?

How would a battleship help us against ISIS?

Reagan made pretty good use of one shelling Syrian/Lebanese positions in 83. Claimed he should have used it more. Armed with tomahawks, just as good as any cruiser, but with much better anti ground and anti-ship capability.

A nuclear-powered battleship with an Ageis system and phalanx of cruise missiles ...

plus 16-inch guns ...

with effective air-missile defense would be a great weapons system ...

The Russians tried that with the Kirov and her sisters. They soon discovered that without air cover the ships were large, slow targets.

So have I. I am currently a volunteer in the Cruz effort. Cruz is my first choice.

Unfortunately, we need to be asking ourselves who we support if Cruz fails to catch fire.

We also need to ask ourselves if perhaps we should be following our candidate's example by NOT engaging in sniper fire against Trump. Cruz has had nothing but good things to say about Trump and I would encourage any Cruz supporter to emulate that.

Montana was to be the first of the successors to the Iowa Class ships, the new Montana Class.

I miss them too.

We were talking about ISIS, which is hundreds of miles from the Mediterranean. And don't cruiserd and destroyers and submarines all have cruise missiles and anti-ship missiles? How many of those can you buy for the cost of one battleship?

Yes indeed and the first words of his speech will be “We Don’t Need No Stinking Battleships”!

The only thing “running” about Linda Grahmnesty are his/her/its’ nylons.
