Donald Trump has torn through his Republican presidential opponents, but now he has a new nemesis: Miss Alabama. Meg McGuffin finished as the fourth runner up in the Miss America 2016 pageant on Sunday night. But it was her shot at Trump -- who she said should leave the GOP "absolutely terrified" -- that provided the most memorable moment of her pageant appearance. During the competition, Miss America judge Taya Kyle, the widow of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, asked McGuffin to weigh in on Trump's surge to the front of the Republican presidential pack.
"I think Donald Trump is an entertainer, and I think he says what's on a lot of peoples' minds," she said. "But I think the Republican Party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention that he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie who could absolutely do the job of president of the United States."

In the past, whenever Twinkie has had a political question, or any other question for that matter; she has always relied on MISS ALABAMA for advice./s
In fact, any of those beauty pageant participants are always only too glad to render their opinions; much like my old granddaddy used to render hogs at hog-killing time.
She is correct, those candidates are incredible. As in NOT credible. Don’t think that is what she had in mind though.
The GOPe is pulling out all the stops.
They know their stranglehold on power and money in favor of liberalism could come to an end.
Not GUILTY indeed!
She might need a spanking though. Volunteers?
One is something good to eat.................The other is a breakfast sandwich........................
That’s a hubba hubba hunka love!
That’s a hubba hubba hunka love!
How many different contestants were queried in order to get the “correct” response?
Miss Alabama prefers weak men.
This “U.S. American” says...come to ‘Rococo!
Hey Miss Georgia who won said if there was even a scintilla of evidence Tom Brady deflated the footballs he should be punished with suspensions. So the notion of innocent until proven guilty is not on her dial. LOL!
Lets face it folks the beauty pageant gals are not rocket scientists and they were not rocket scientists when I was a kid. They don’t get smarter over time. :-)
Poor thing...
LOL
Can you imagine expressing high-minded thoughts about Yeb and Krispy?
At some point during her answer she said “If I were a Republican.” My wife astutely noted that, of course, a Democrat (like Miss Alabama) would prefer Christie or Bush as an opponent.
Definitely Not Guilty!
Politically? No...
In this woman’s defense, some folks aren’t into politics. Even if they are superficially, they may not grasp what Bush and Christie really are in the overall scheme of things.
She’s probably echoing some comments she heard from others.
What bothers me here is the fact they asked this question at all.
If asked about Obama, they would have said, “Oh, I think it’s so wonderful to have a Black man running. No political value whatsoever...”
With Trump it’s a set-up, with a sure negative response, and exactly what they were looking for.
The question phase jumped the shark over a decade or more ago.
