Two topless feminists have stormed the stage at a Muslim conference in France. The activists, from hard-line feminist outfit Femen jumped on stage, with “Nobody makes me submit” scrawled across their bare chests. The most prominent protester shouted, “Nobody makes me submit, me nobody owns me, I’m my own prophet!” before being dragged and kicked off the stage by angered Muslims.
The video, below, shows the incident that took place at the Muslim Salon in Pontoise, France, a town just outside of Paris, which ended “violently” according to one eyewitness.
The activists stormed the stage, leading to two embarrassed looking Muslim men shuffling off stage smirking while clearly trying to get an eye-full, before more violent men took to the stage to shove them over, eventually kicking the women off the side of the stage.

Know the area very well. Worked about 4 blocks from there in the 90s. Zabars, H&H Bagels (no longer there...closed down over legal issues I believe).

There actually were 2 “large” black women in the 80s and/or 90s who went by the name “Two Tons of Fun”. They did the song “It’s Raining Men”. I think they changed their name at some point to “The Weather Girls”.

In yet another sign of the impending apocalypse, H&H Bagels will close tomorrow. Forever.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the bagel shop’s Broadway and 80th Street location, which opened in 1972, is closing, without any apparent explanation. The company’s store and baking plant on West 46th Street will continue to operate, but that’s cold comfort for the legions of Upper West Siders who have carbo-loaded there for almost four decades.
Although one employee told the paper that a rent increase was the culprit, H&H has not been without its internal troubles. In 2009, its owner, Helmer Toro, was arrested and indicted for withholding taxes and unemployment insurance tax evasion in connection with his wholesale and retail business. At the time of Toro’s arrest the government shut down H&H, but it reopened only a few hours later.
Trouble struck again this February, when Toro filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to prevent the company from being barred from its New Jersey manufacturing facilities. It looks like he wasn’t having much luck closer to home, either.
I do not know about you but I’ve yet to find a comparable bagel

"The business was started in 1972 when Puerto Rican Helmer Toro and his brother-in-law Hector Hernandez (hence "H&H") bought Midtown Bagels at Broadway and 80th Street for $5,000 ($28,000 in current dollar terms) in cash and $50,000 ($280,000 in current dollar terms) in a loan. Toro eventually assumed full control of the business.[3]
In 1993 it moved its bakery to 46th Street at 12th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen although its primary storefront remained on the Upper West Side.
In addition to its retail locations, H&H also shipped bagels worldwide. H&H Bagels were Hechsher-certified Kosher and Pareve by Star-K.[4]
On November 18, 2009, Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau announced the indictment[5] and arrest of Helmer Toro for stealing withholding taxes and evading unemployment insurance taxes.[6]
The indictment alleged that between July 2003 and April 2009, Toro failed to pay $369,000 withheld from H&H employees.[7]
In May 2010 he pleaded guilty in a New York court to charges of grand larceny, and was ordered to pay restitution of more than $540,000 and to serve a sentence of 50 weekends, which he did on Rikers Island from June 2010 to July 2011.[8]
H&H filed for bankruptcy protection in February 2011 in an effort to maintain its manufacturing facility in Secaucus, New Jersey,[9] but ultimately that facility was sold at auction in October 2011. The West 46th and West 80th retail locations closed in January 2012.[10]

BTW, I see you are now living in Tennessee. My father was from Knoxville. He met my mother in Central Park while on leave from the Navy about 67 years ago. Both are now gone.
