Why does nobody talk about stopping billions in fraud and waste? No new taxes!

If you listened carefully to what Trump said, he said the system is too complicated and needs to be simplified. He is right. He said the crony capitalists were not paying a fair share of the tax burden, taking advantage of loopholes in the system unavailable to working Americans. He was right. Should taxes overall be reduced? Most definitely. Especially for American businesses and entrepeneurs. But the Uberrich Crony capitalists, part of the globalist mafia seeking to liquidate borders, steal American jobs, pander to the UN and the PetroSheikdoms, yes, they should pay THEIR share of the overall tax burden. And I think that is what he was saying.

Rich people are liberals.

Why shouldn’t they pay higher taxes?

In fact, it makes a great deal of sense to every one but the Chamber Of Commerce and and hedge fund types who wring their hands in horror at money most of them won’t miss in their accounts.

The FIRST Bush campaigned on lower taxes, and did raise them.

Trump’s tax plan STARTS at $30,001.00.
No loopholes, no deductions, which is an actual tax raise in itself, is it not?

The whole article is a lie. He has a proposal and it has lower tax rates than current rates. They are talking about something he proposed years ago that isn’t in his tax plan and he doesn’t support anymore.

Trump was speaking of people that are evading taxes by mis-labeling income as long term or short term capital gains such as the hedgies he is surrounded by in NYC.. He has no intention of raising taxes on those not using those loopholes. This is a NON-ISSUE ...

Government is a huge snowball. Every move it makes it collects more of our sustenance. Political “leaders” are good at pointing out boogiemen that aren’t paying their “fair” share. If enough people fall for it we “level” the playing field by adding some more to the snowball. Anybody that looks at ANY, and I do mean ANY, politician to make life “fair” is in for a lifetime of dour disappointment.

I agree in tax increases, too. One the 49% that pay virtually no federal tax.

Everyone needs skin in the game. As it is, these people never met a tax increase (on the rest of us) they didn't love.

And I wouldn't mind punks like Zuckerberg being s little less cozy with the feds, maybe if they'd threaten to take enough from his stash to hurt he wouldn't be.

The Donald has made it abundantly clear to anyone not suffering from TWS, that he's going to make the rich "pay their fair share."

Every populist politician in history has attacked the rich for not paying their share of the bill. It's the best way to lather up the economic illiterates. History also shows us that the threshold for being rich rapidly decreases as the politician begins to realize that there are not enough rich people to deliver on his/her promises.

Trump may not know what he really believes in, but he knows what sells. Soaking the rich is a strategy that appeals to both sides of the equation. And the country gets screwed.....unless he changes his mind......again.

I don’t think Trump is advocating for higher taxes for wealthy Americans. The plan I saw would lower taxes for them and possibly raise taxes on lower income people.

I didn’t realize that 15% is greater than 39.6%.

Time to go back to College. No, make that Elementary School.

I must have missed it the first time around.
