Donald Trump is apparently not going out of his way to make nice with John McCain or his next of kin.

Trump, the current frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination, took to Twitter on Saturday to blast the Arizona Senator's daughter Meghan McCain.

"Meghan McCain was terrible on The Five yesterday," Trump tweeted about the Fox News contributor. "Angry and obnoxious, she will never make it on TV. Fox News can do so much better!"

Trump's bad blood with the McCain family appears to continue, following his harsh words for John McCain last month. The real estate mogul criticized the Senator is not a war hero and that Trump likes "people who weren't captured." He has refused to apologize for the remarks.

Trump also has had friction with Fox News, taking host Megyn Kelly to task for her questions at the GOP debate regarding his comments about women.

Trump's tweet can be seen below.

McCain is voting FOR the Iran deal! And American’s still call him a hero? He’s obviously instilled his idiocy in his daughter...who is some floors short of the top deck.

McCain is voting FOR the Iran deal?
.................................................
It was reported in the news yesterday, along with a half dozen other RINOS like Lindsay Graham. Will see if I can find the report.

Yesterday, McCain was in Arizona voicing opposition to the deal.

I will NEVER forget those campaign ads IN ARIZONA in 2010 of McCain snarling that if elected, he would build the danged fence.

What he says in Arizona anywhere near an election and what is the reality are two entirely different things.

Found it reported on the Tea Party News Network TPNN.

TRAITORS: Heres The List Of Republicans Who Backed Obamas Iran Deal. . . Spread The Word”

excerpt:

Any chance of scuttling the Obama administration’s flawed, suicidal Iran nuclear deal via congressional action was thwarted when Sen. Barbara Mulkowski became the 34th vote the president needed to prevent the Senate from overriding the treaty.

However, Democrats weren’t the only ones busy sabotaging opposition to the Iran deal. Eight Republicans have also pledged their support to the deal. Now, conservatives need to let them know that we’ll remember their treason next primary season.

.....Sens. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Dan Coats of Indiana, Bob Corker of Tennessee, Jeff Flake and John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Orrin Hatch of Utah and David Perdue of Georgia all voted with the Democrats on the Iran deal.

This in spite of a new report from the Iran Security Council that says the deal “will enable Iran to increase support for terrorist and insurgent proxies, aggravate sectarian conflict and trigger both nuclear and conventional proliferation cascades.”

In the report, the Iran Security Council said the deal will “provide the expansionist regime in Tehran with access to resources, technology and international arms markets required to bolster offensive military capabilities in the vital Persian Gulf region, acquire long-range ballistic missiles and develop other major weapons systems.”

...................There are a fair number of known RINOs in that list — Graham, McCain and Alexander have long been known as unreliable conservatives — but several surprises, as well (H/T Joe for America).

...............“You know, there’s something in the Iran deal that people I don’t think really understand or know about, and nobody’s able to explain it, that if somebody attacks Iran, we have to come to their defense,” Trump said in the interview.

“And I’m saying, does that include Israel? And most people say, ‘Yes, they don’t have an exclusion for Israel,’” he explained. “So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe the way it reads … that we have to fight with Iran against Israel.”

The vote is not until later this month.

It’s now known as “The Five And Seven-Eighths”. ;-)

I think that’s too high. You would have to subtract another 1/8 for the empty space between her ears.

"Angry and obnoxious" Lol. I've been thinking the same thing.

The local Rush station has been playing her radio show at night.

I don't know if the station's people are progressive true believers and keep Rush only as a legacy program for the revenue or if they're true keepers of the faith while doing what they have to do to keep their FCC license.

What I do know is that I agree with Trump about the McCain family.

I can't/won't listen to her radio program and there's no way I'd watch her on any television program...ever.

Too painful and I fear the MMcC inspired thoughts would lead me to perdition.

It was a uncalled for bait and switch. Joe Pags was dumped for her unannounced. I was mad about it. Pags still on in San Antonio and on that station.s website.

This guy’s a buffoon. If he’s the nominee, he loses.

Ok, first let me say I don't think you are correct. That being said I have learned a great deal from very wise people that happen to hang out on the Free Republic, so perhaps I am wrong, BUT, my feelings about John McCain are probably not like yours. I believe that McCain got favors in POW prison for giving information not only about his military service but about what other prisoners were doing, there are many other prisoners that were there with McCain that will agree with me and have publicly. All that being said, being in a prisoner of war camp is undoubtedly a horrible experience, I can forgive what he did or said to protect himself there but he is not a hero for winding up in a POW camp, heroes do something good. Heroes save people from danger, heroes tell the truth when the whole world conspires to keep them from doing so. Perhaps I'm a blowhard but McCain is no hero.

McCain is too far to the left to be considered a RINO and he once considered running with Hillary.

I cannot think of anything in the last 10 years that makes me think good about McCain. To me McCain is closer to Harry Reid than to Ronald Reagan.

So, perhaps trump is a blowhard, perhaps what the country needs is a good blowhard.

Daddy must have called in a lot of favors and pulled a few "strings" to make Meghan's wish upon a star to come true, but for all things and to all things a season they say.

With any luck, her program's contract and her time in the light will be over quickly and without too much collateral and latent damage.

I feel the same way. Don’t know if they have moved too many CNN people over there, or what, but most of them I don’t enjoy like I used to. One American News (OAN) is a good station that gives the news without the yelling, opinions, and silliness. Watching it more and more.
