One of the reasons why states like Florida and Virginia went for Obama the last two elections. Watch for more southern states to follow.

As long as they don’t bring the same stupid voting patterns that got them in trouble in the first place, welcome!

Most will. Libs never learn. Too bad we can’t limit those coming in to our red states to conservatives only :-/

I don’t welcome them. I’ve had to deal with Yanks for years and so many of them are a**holes.

It's funny - I never found the average Californian to be a jerk at all. They are either politically indifferent or just have no clue how their voting choices affect their economy and quality of life.

The vote fraud machine is so polished and perfected in California that many, many local elections "won" by conservatives or even moderates end up going to the Leftists with nobody actually realizing what has happened. Democrats are trying to take this machine national, and had some success doing so in battleground states last time.

The machine can sometimes be circumvented, however, when confronted with an opponent who comes in with his own high profile and fortune. It could do nothing to stop Arnold Schwarzenegger from sweeping Gray Davis out of office - notwithstanding what a RINO Arnold turned out to be as Governor. And I think the machine faces the same problem in Donald Trump. He short circuits their game, because the uninformed the machine relies on in part to generate multiple/fake votes are informed about Trump. They've seen him on TV, and prefer him to the nameless female Communist with the (D) after her name.

They aren’t welcome in Texas. Nobody trusts them or their ilk.

Welcome to Texas. NOW GO HOME!

And our beautiful state is generally the worse for it.

Unfortunately that is not the history ... they always try to recreate the place they came from, as they are sure they will get it right this time around ...

This is how California was ruined in the first place. Hordes of New Englanders brought their policies with them after WWII and joined the low-income shipyard and wartime factory workers who were here.

NJ used to be nice. Then the NYer’s came. We had to move. Fortunately, the new state is getting two reliably conservative voters with money of our own.

Which is why I prefer Trump winning while listening to Cruz instead of the machine doing its perfect job - ‘12 was stolen, that’s all there is to it - than lose with Cruz, who is my candidate.

This is happening big time in Connecticut where I once lived. CT will soon be without a middle class. There will only be the rich and poor.

Guess what the poor will do then?

I agree with you. I live in SW Washington and I’ve never seen so many CA plates before. Two CA families moved into the neighborhood recently. These developments make me VERY nervous.

Just talking about this here.

And the net result of this is ...

(D) = becoming Distilled
(R) = becoming Diluted

Most "blue" states will lose electoral votes, and the "red" ones will pick up some. But within the "blue" they just get darker. Within the "red" they get purpler. None of this will show up until 2022 and 2024 after redistricting from the 2020 census.

The real problem is what happens to Texas and Arizona. If there is an amnesty we are so screwed. Even without one we are heading there fast. Now you know why Trump is soaring.

Maybe pass a law at the state level making it a 5-year residency requirement before you can vote for state and local level elections?

One can dream right?

Yes, they are moving to OR and WA, which is why those states are just like CA now with their anti-freedom laws coming almost daily now. The entire western seaboard is one big liberal no-go zone now to me.

You forget that when you move, you do tend to leave a lot of junk behind.

When you move, you tend to leave a lot of junk behind for the garbage truck. So you have to have hope for the same for viewpoints.
