Why make yourself an easy target?

Or do you think “let’s fight the legitimacy of the SCOTUS on this issue” is a winner?

You do get that this woman is literally obstructing the operation of the gov’t because of her own religious beliefs, right?

A government that in a disciplined manner administers evil does not become a good government.

So this is not the “hill to die on”, right? It’s funny, I remember so many people on this site going ballistic because the GOP kept telling us, “give us a majority and we will do X, Y and Z,” and then when they got the majority and refused to do X, Y and Z, they kept telling us, “This isn’t the hill to die on.”

So my question is, what is the hill we are willing to die on? What are the principles that are so dear to us that we are willing to draw the line in the sand? Apparently, for many on this site, marriage isn’t it; abortion isn’t it; religious liberty isn’t it; property rights isn’t it. In fact, if I were to base my opinion on what I have seen here lately, it seems like the only “hill to die on” for a lot of people here is immigration. And they are willing to sacrifice everything else on the chance they MIGHT accomplish something on that front.

For those on this site that oppose this woman because gay marriage is “the law of the land”, and feel this is not the hill to die on - just remember that birthright citizenship is also the “law of the land” - should we just move on?
