The political class must be eradicated.

Trump, you can have an opinion about something like this. You did not have to punt.

Trump’s big sister is a federal judge. I wonder what she’d advise him. /s

Read the full article. Trump didn’t really answer the question, which is not great but short of saying she just needs to issue the marriage licenses. He more or less said other people in the office can do it, or applicants can drive to another municipality to do it, but that since her name is on the certificate, that was the problem.

Trump can be inarticulate with things, and i believe he was equating this to a conscientious objector analogy without saying so, which is how this debate should be framed. If one can claim objector status to a war on religious grounds, or one can request religious accomodations at work, then if the USSC wants to fiat this, then governments are going to have to provide religious accomodations to those who don’t want to comply...

Had a feeling he would say this. Doesn’t shock me that he supports Godlessness when he talked about Communion in such a disrespectful way.

Some of the hills where conservatives have made a stand: What do these have in common?

Compare with

How do "conservatives" lose with such winning hands? Well, they overplay them with using melodrama, histrionics and other counterproductive methods. Rather than Mark Levin screaming into a microphone, why not have a slickly produced video?

I completely support Kim Davis’ positions and her willingness to go to any length to defend it...

...but...

She should’ve delegated the issuances of those licenses to others or resigned her position.

Sorry, folks. Trump is right on this one.

You have to realize that Trump is still new with this whole “being a Christian” thing. He’s bound to make mistakes.

“You have to go with it,” Mr. Trump said. “The decision’s been made, and that is the law of the land.”
___

Trump is so wrong. He needs to step back and rethink his position regarding SC decisions. The SC does not make/change law.

“The decision’s been made, and that is the law of the land.”

Donald Trump is a dangerous ignoramus.

"I do not forget the position assumed by some that constitutional questions are to be decided by the Supreme Court, nor do I deny that such decisions must be binding in any case upon the parties to a suit as to the object of that suit, while they are also entitled to very high respect and consideration in all parallel cases by all other departments of the Government. And while it is obviously possible that such decision may be erroneous in any given case, still the evil effect following it, being limited to that particular case, with the chance that it may be overruled and never become a precedent for other cases, can better be borne than could the evils of a different practice. At the same time, the candid citizen must confess that if the policy of the Government upon vital questions affecting the whole people is to be irrevocably fixed by decisions of the Supreme Court, the instant they are made in ordinary litigation between parties in personal actions the people will have ceased to be their own rulers, having to that extent practically resigned their Government into the hands of that eminent tribunal."

-- President Abraham Lincoln, First Inaugural Address

One of the queers at the Ky Clerks office replied,
“You’re telling us that we don’t deserve the same rights as you do, that you have, that you’ve enjoyed your entire life?” Moore asked.

See, he can only say this because the government is in the marriage business.
Get GOVERNMENT out the marriage business and their is NO “discrimination”.
How? Eleminate “marriage”, or more specifically GOVERNMENT “marriage”, for ALL.
Replace GOVERNMENT “marriage” with a civil union agreement.

God fearing folks can have an additional ceremony and be “married” before the eyes of God.
Otherwise, the queers and pervs will keep crying discrimination. take away GOVERNMENT “marriage” and you disarm the left.
Use Seperation of Church against them the left. If you can not have a nativity at a government facility. Then Government can not force a church to “marry” two men.

A man like Trump, who has no understanding of religious freedom, is not presidential material.

It’s not about personalities. It’s about the Constitution. Trump is unfit to lead the country.

I did consider supporting Trump for five minutes several weeks ago. Quickly got over that impulse and this confirms my instinct was right.

Trump is passing the buck to the courts. It is their souls that are on the line...not his. Hope their Karma stays in tact.

You blew this, Donald.

People seem to have overlooked the prohibiting the free exercise thereof part of the Establishment Clause.

A Christian woman acting on her beliefs was led out of court in leg irons and sits in a Kentucky jail.

I guess that doesn't bother you, does it Donald?
