A man who allegedly tweeted a threatening remark against La Plata residents Wednesday afternoon was taken into custody at about 8:47 p.m. without incident by the Charles County Sheriff's Office.
Carlos Anthony, 20, of Waldorf was identified as the suspect who reportedly posted the threat of violence on Twitter by the La Plata Police Department.
Twitter post stated: “IM NOT GONNA STAND FOR THIS NO. MORE. TONIGHT WE PURGE! KILL ALL THE WHITE PPL IN THE TOWN OF LA PLATA!”

That sure makes it a lot bigger and I’m just now noticing it actually had the word “purge” in it ... good grief ... I think I was so bent out over it all I couldn’t even read it straight.
All this constant turmoil everyday with people getting shot, and death threats being made towards whites is really taking a toll on me. My spirit inside is grieving so much over it all.

yep ... sometimes I tell my friends when they are fighting with one another, that the devil is probably sitting over in the corner rubbing his hands together with glee.
I have several ideas about all of this. The "need for news",in what passes for "Press" these days, creates so much garbage. The repetitious reports of same old, same old makes too many loose cannons go off. One imbecile sees no purpose in his own life, so he decides to make history by killing needlessly. Rape, murder, et al, are similar in that they are requiring a complete debasement of ones self. It is hedonism gone wild.
Another thought, is that we have more news shoved down our throats. In the "old days", we picked up a newspaper the day after an incident, or a week later, and read about it. Now, we see the story repeated ten times in an hour, with breathless hacks trying to be seen by the masses.
But, ultimately, it is the absence of God in the life of so many. God is here. But, too many people can't take the time to get to know Him. When that happens, sin prevails. Sin is sin, no matter how bad we see it. To God, anything that "misses the mark" is sin (like the center of a bullseye).
What is "the mark", you ask? It is listening to the still small voice of His Holy Spirit that will lead us into all Truth, and away from error.
This world will end some day, as we know it. BUT, what is on the other side is worth living for... Jesus promised us that!

Today we live in a world constantly threatened by terrorism, in our cities we have hate crimes, drive by shootings, mothers killing their own infant children, parents killing their children, children killing parents, inhuman behavior is becoming the norm, we have run a muck having no restraints. Why?...
.... Because there is no law, no real accountability, it’s lawlessness. The more tolerance today the less morals we have. There is a relationship between the two, no standard and anything goes. In Israel’s apostasy at the end of the Book of judges reads just as our society today,.... “everyone did what was right in THEIR OWN EYES.”
