A man who allegedly tweeted a threatening remark against La Plata residents Wednesday afternoon was taken into custody at about 8:47 p.m. without incident by the Charles County Sheriff's Office.
Carlos Anthony, 20, of Waldorf was identified as the suspect who reportedly posted the threat of violence on Twitter by the La Plata Police Department.
Twitter post stated: “IM NOT GONNA STAND FOR THIS NO. MORE. TONIGHT WE PURGE! KILL ALL THE WHITE PPL IN THE TOWN OF LA PLATA!”

I was just on the phone tonite with my friend to tell her husband to be careful out there, and I played him the recording of that blog radio host calling open season on whitey, then he tells me about this threat in LaPlata, so I looked it up and sure enough, it’s hitting close to home now.

I’ve never twitted, tweeted, or twirped yet, but maybe I should, so I can put these derelicts feet to the fire.
Well at least he was using social media and he felt an urge to share it because someone called the Police which is a good thing.
Considering the demographics in Charles County, that sort of agitation could again be successful, only on a broader scale.
This administration is the one fomenting racial unrest now, not the 'revolutionaries' of the '60s, but there is little difference between the two.
I would take the threat seriously, because if one is dumb enough to tweet about it, chances are that he is not alone in this way of thinking.
