Yes, indeed. Rush was so good on this subject today. I am going to call the GOPe “Tories” from now on.

Bret told us we weren’t classy! Boo hoo!
It’s been very eye-opening to see so many on the right behave so callously towards a person that actually is saying the stuff they wanted and fighting back against the press like they hoped would have been done years ago.
Right.
The Right has a lot of “intellectual elite” and “academia elite” both of whom tend to have a superior attitude and contempt for others. There’s a certain arrogance about them. Academia has its own set of “politically correct” rules and often misses the common need for life and liberty in order to have a happy society.
Popular culture and conventional wisdom has completely lost the idea that happiness of the individual should be the main goal in a society.
this guy is a weekend Fox News show commentator
Rush nails it.
But American values ARE conservative. It’s just that a lot of people don’t realize it, or don’t call it that. To them it’s just common sense.
Let’s not protest. It’s going just fine.
Please feel free to criticize us a little more, Wall Street Journal. And don’t change your name, whatever you do.
As if we didn’t know already.
We hold them in even worse regard than they do us..............
Interesting that Trump the billionaire resonates with the grass roots, but the so-called, “intelligentsia,” have nothing but scorn and opprobrium.
I disagree with Limbaugh on this. Conservatives have no reason to believe that Trump is one of us, except - perhaps - on the one issue of illegal immigration. He has a long track record of expressing liberal views on most issues. I almost think he’s a liberal Trojan Horse, intended to disrupt the normal Republican primary process and throw it into chaos.
I’m amazed that people who dismiss Fiorina as a fake conservative - because she thinks that the anti-gay marriage county clerk should resign - are still defending Trump, whose liberal pronouncements on many issues are well-documented. Fiorina at least defended the right of private business owners to refuse to service gay marriages.
McDonalds would have folded after making 100 burgers in 1957 if they insulted their customers or had a Snob Level they insisted their customers reach.
Ah, the anointed. They know so much better than us how to live our own lives.
I’ve been disappointed with the National Review guys for their snootiness towards the Trump surge. I know Limbaugh is a NR fan. I wonder if he’s said anything about them and their attitudes recently.
I like the phrase “Americanism”!
