Milwaukee County Sherriff David A. Clarke Jr. criticized the idea that President Barack Obamas call for reforming the police is helping law enforcement and is instead weakening the institution of policing, adding that the solution is to fix the ghetto and stop trying to fix the police. [ ]
Look, President Obama has breathed life into this ugly movement, said Clarke. And it is time now for good, law-abiding Americans to rise up, like they did in Houston around that Chevron station [where the deputy sheriff was murdered], an outpouring.
But it just cant be symbolic, said the sheriff. We now have to counter this slime, this filth coming out of these cop-haters.

Dang, this guy has nailed it.
Conservatives are typically shut out of big government, even at the local level, especially as it moves towards centralization. The apparatus has been working in this direction for at least seventy years, but in reality since 1848. Back in the latter half of the eighteenth century, not even representation in Westminster would have healed the breach caused by George III.
Isn’t it written in Isaiah 3:4 that there will be “children” as the rulers at all levels of government, and in Daniel 4:17 that “the basest of men” would hold power? There’s a reason why there is a “god of this world” spoken of in 2 Corinthians 4:4 as well.
Police don't want to be fixed huh?
“Conservatives are typically shut out of big government, even at the local level...”
That’s horse-hockey. I have two 2nd Amendment, Constitutional sheriffs, one in the county I live in and another in the county where I hunt and fish.
I’d bet my next paycheck that all you do is sit on your fat ass in front of a computer and bitch all day. You don’t get involved in your county politics, you don’t organize your neighbors and you sure as hell don’t have a pro-2nd amendment sheriff in your county.
Look, the Founders left a blueprint to take on tyrants, and it requires that local citizens get involved in local community affairs.
Well, thanks for disregarding the scriptures I was pointing out. You dont believe the liberals have sold out to the god of this world in exchange for their power, and that this was foretold? You also dont believe that things are turning towards greater centralization? There is a way to overcome them, and it doesnt necessarily involve getting into their machine where their machine prevails.
Remember I said “big government” at the local level. Does not apply to smaller government where it exists. Where local government becomes the arm of big government, the people are nullified. W. Cleon Skousen pointed out that the ideological war was in full swing back in 1958 in his book “The Naked Communist”.
The Founding Fathers intended the Bill of Rights to work. Barring that, there is Article V. Going beyond that, they declared that “it is the right of the people to alter or abolish” tyrannical government, in the Declaration of Independence.
So far, a number of people have said that without outlining what needs to be fixed on the part of the police. And there is one thus far who asked “how?” when it came to fixing the ghetto. So what is the greater priority between the two?
So let's see, within the past week we had a man died while in police custody in Texas and we had police shoot up the wrong house while killing the dog and wounding the homeowner plus one of the attacking officers. In the past year we've had police kill unarmed men in Ohio and South Carolina and Texas and New York and other places, shot and killed an unarmed 12 year old in Cleveland. You don't think there's anything there that needs fixing?
Reporting the events, and perhaps omitting facts (which the media is no stranger to), does not spell out how to fix them once what went wrong is actually sorted out.
And back to the ghetto. And also which is the priority, and for the record which is the greater danger to the country. Is David Clarke a bad cop?
“Barring that, there is Article V. Going beyond that, they declared that it is the right of the people to alter or abolish tyrannical government, in the Declaration of Independence.”
Well, damn. You still got some fight left. Good. Get ready to kick a$$. Bring your Bible, gun and ammo. We are organizing.
Wouldn’t Thump love too, but the man is committed to another candidate :)
Sheriff Clarke is “one of a kind” just like Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Once again SunkenCiv some great links you posted! Thank you for your trouble!
Please consider this patriot for a cabinet post in your administration....
“Stop Trying to Fix the Police Fix the Ghetto That would make a great bumper sticker.”
And a brick through your window when you park the car.
Spot on.
My pleasure. I just got rollin’ on the 2009 stuff about the Beer Summit / Gates bust in Cambridge, to show that Zero was a simpleminded racist then, and that he hasn’t grown into the job, for which he has never been fit.
