The Republican Establishment tries to make an emotional connection with religious beliefs about sexuality on this issue.

The real problem is the outlawing of religious beliefs that don’t conform to the state’s views on sexuality.

The First Amendment of the Constitution becomes a diaper wipe with the legalization of gay marriage.

Freedom of religion and speech for those who oppose it is being abridged.

Opponents of gay marriage are being marginalized like Jews in 1933-1935 Germany.

I would seriously like to see several hundred thousand Kentuckians get organized and resist any enforcement effort.

What is needed is a show of solidarity and a show to Justice Kennedy and this perverted SCOTUS that THIS STOPS NOW!

Kentucky is violating Section 1 of the 14th Amendment imo. Section 1 expressly prohibits the states from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, the 1st Amendment’s protections of religious expression and speech in this case.
14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

And the reason that pro-gay activist justices are ignoring pro-gay activist states who are violating the 14th Amendment is because these justices undoubtedly know that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Senate will not lift a finger to work with the House to impeach and remove such justices from the bench.

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators and activist justices along with it.

Kagan, Ginsburg, Sotomayor, Breyer, Kennedy, and Roberts need to be removed by Congress. Their lawlessness is an offense to the Constitution, the States, and The People.

The lawless aren't going to remove their lawless kinfolk. The earth opening up and swallowing them all up in one gulp OTOH... now that would make a dent.

It is mostly about attacking judeo-christian ethics. It is partly about forcing approval of a deviant behavior. Heterosexuality gives society 100% of our future generations. Encouraging the staying together of couples in those sorts of unions is in the state’s interest. There is nothing intrinsically equal about homosexuality. At minimum, in a libertarian extreme, one could say who cares how they get their org*sms. But to elevate it to marriage is absurd.

Two women, acting like two men, relating to each other as members of the opposite sex, unable to join together in the literal sense, unable to have children without heterosexuality......should not be called the same thing.

Two men acting like two women and relating to each other as members of the opposite sex only their sex organs do not match up either.....can’t have children....should not be called the same thing as a heterosexual family.

This is a perversion of reality in every way. It is harmful to the participants. It is harmful to the children dragged into it and to those who get sold this nonsense in the public schools. It is harmful to the moral order of society in that it labels as discriminatory those who hold the highest moral values and it elevates to special protected status those who do not.

Good has become evil and evil has become good. Our government is on the side of evil.

From your lips to God’s ears....I focus on the freedom for all aspect of this.

The LGBT activists hate religion and want to crush it for opposing their lifestyle. The courts have sided with them and it only goes downhill from here as witnessed in Canada and the European countries.

Police knocking on doors, fines and jail sentences because government in the form of courts have decided to side with anti-religion forces in society.

I agree a lot of religious folks are hypocrites and say nasty things about gay people. The ones who use heavy language in this forum if they aren’t trolls may fit the stereotype.

But using government to impose your liberal sexuality on society including those who object is tyranny and I will not support tyranny.

Right now many look to Trump as a solution.

I support Cruz but I want to see the next POTUS be ready to intervene and support or even lead resistance that would probably end up with calls for impeachment and removal from office by the Left and others.

Likely enough that Iran is working on that, if we're moderately lucky. EXTREMELY lucky would be, Iran only nukes San Fran.

VERY lucky would be, Iran just nukes Harvard or Yale.

Plain old lucky would be Manhattan.

And speaking of power, VERY unlucky would be Iran goes for an EMP, and takes out our power grid; or makes dozens of suitcase nukes and takes out the heart of 20 cities at once.
