CRUZ: I’m proud to stand with law enforcement, to stand with the police and fire fighters and first responders

HOUSTON, Texas — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, today at an event in New Hampshire addressed the ongoing assault against law enforcement across the country. In light of recent attacks against police officers, specifically Deputy Sheriff Darren H. Goforth in his hometown of Houston, Sen. Cruz is calling for leadership to stand up against the assault on law enforcement across our country:

“We stand with our police officers, we stand with our fire fighters, with our EMS, with our first responders. These are brave humans who risk their lives keeping us safe. We are seeing a manifestation of the rhetoric and vilification of law enforcement that is coming from the top — all the way to the President of the United States and senior administration officials.

“Cops across this country are feeling the assault. They’re feeling the assault from the President, from the top on down as we see, whether it’s in Ferguson or Baltimore, the response of senior officials of the President, of the Attorney General, is to vilify law enforcement. That is fundamentally wrong, and it is endangering the safety and security of us all.

“I’m proud to stand with law enforcement, to stand with the police and fire fighters and first responders. They are American heroes. And they need a President who doesn’t attack and vilify them and who doesn’t seek to tear us apart along racial lines to inflame racial divisions. Instead we need a President who works to bring us together and unify us behind shared American values.”

The result of 50 years of Progressive/Communist control of our education system, and a POTUS who does not like America.

Kudos to Mr. Cruz for speaking the truth with clarity and conviction.

I think we’ve about had it with fundamental transformation.

And I think we’re tired of losing America’s best while the pond scum thrives.

This movement against cops is a sickening manifestation of the homegrown communism that started in the 1960s, when William Ayers and Bernadine Dorn were calling cops pigs and targetting them for bombing. This assault on law enforcement is right out of the communist playbook.

Like almost all progressive issues, it’s also based on lies. The stats show that if anything, blacks are less likely to be injured by cops in arrests than whites.

We live in a society that celebrates execution-style murder of law enforcement but condemns waterboarding terrorists.

I’d like to see Ted Cruz do a joint appearance in Detroit with Ben Carson to talk about faith, family, and the 2nd amendment. It might not lead to a huge number of votes but they are good issues for blacks.

There is a growing trend of common sense among authority figures in Detroit that could be nourished into something much bigger. A pro 2nd amendment police chief urging people to arm themselves. He calls the thugs a bunch of urban terrorists. A Prosecutor who has made it very clear that race doesn’t matter when it comes down to facts and evidence. Judges who say they’re sick of scum embarrassing the city.

Basically go to the city to campaign to local authority fingures who can in turn push the message to the people.

Sounds like a great plan.

Maybe the Carson and/or Cruz people will read your post and start working on how that can be done.

Are you some kind of strategist or leader in your line of work? If not maybe you should think about it.

Say these words and I’ll believe your sincerity: “Today, black organizations are calling for the murder of police officers. Several blacks have killed police officers. I demand that the racist hate stop.”

I'm not but Ted Cruz's Michigan Campaign director (Wendy Day) follows me on twitter.

Detroit is changing fast and the GOP would do well to keep an eye on it. From just the other day. Rick Ector is a Detroit firearms instructor and 2nd amendment advocate. He was discussing the racist roots of gun control in Michigan and the rest of the USA.

Now only if the laws stood for the people and not the Sheriffs cash flow every one would stand with our LEOs!

As it is now Nazi Death squads can act with immunity against anyone for any reason.

Sub machine guns and grenades against a guitar factory over fingerboards anyone?

O’Malley did the opposite.

In fact he “apologized” to them.

What a man!

The “war on cops” is a myth. Police fatalities are lower now than years ago.

I’m not aware of any instance in which a cop is murdered and the perp walks. I can think offhand of numerous instances where a cop murders a member of the public and walks.

The perpetrator behind this tragedy in Houston will likely be executed or spend his life behind bars.

I thought maybe the person to get the ball rolling would be Trump as the media would jump all over ANYTHING he said but perhaps it will be Ted. As long as it’s loud and consistent and tells it like it is, I don’t care who gets the job done. Just do it!! Enough is enough. Sheriff Clarke can do the job but he doesn’t get enough air time.

Someone posted “A Done Deal” on fredoneverything.net last week and it was right on target...”It is curious that blacks, the least educated thirteen percent of the population, the least productive, most criminal and most dependent on governmental charity, should dominate national politics. Yet they do. Virtually everything revolves around what blacks want, demand, do or can’t do. Their power seems without limit.””

That says it all. Anyone denying that their power and their actions today comes directly from the WH and the administration now in place is telling themselves a big fat lie!

A myth? Tell that to the family of Darren Goforth. They’d love for his execution-style murder to be a myth.
