Donald Trump: U.S. Treats Illegals Better than Vets
Brietbart ^ | August 30, 2015 | Tony Lee

Posted on 08/30/2015 9:53:28 PM PDT by Zakeet

On Saturday, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said illegal immigrants are treated better than Wounded Warriors and veterans in America.

Speaking in Nashville at a National Federation of Republican Assemblies event, Trump said that “illegal immigrants, in many cases–not in all cases, but in many cases–are treated better than our veterans, who are the greatest people we have.” Trump spoke about some of the horrors veterans have had to face in accessing basic medical care and services and vowed that veterans would be treated like first-class citizens under a Trump administration.

Interesting post yours (#56). It helps explain that odd, almost incomprehensible, 99-1 vote.

DONALD TRUMP IS RIGHT!!!
PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH YOUR LISTS!!
A VERY IMPORTANT piece if you want to fully understand the 14th Amendment argument! Folks, some really cunning and not so stupid people are on the verge of STEALING YOUR BIRTHRIGHT AND THAT OF YOUR CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN!
If you don’t have time to read the entire thing, PLEASE at least read the paragraphs I’ve extracted below. If you’re STILL unclear why those on the left are slinging all this mud on Trump over this one, understand that a large percentage of those who come here ILLEGALLY are initially unable to fully support themselves until they plug into the underground/paid under the table economy and, because the left has created a welfare hammock for them, avail themselves of those programs (at which time many do both). Those programs create a “warm and fuzzy feeling” toward these leftists Democrats, almost guaranteeing they will become DEMOCRAT VOTERS once the left has succeeded in doing away with proof of citizenship in order to vote. (Not to belabor the point, but ask yourself WHY, during his recent trip to Kenya, obozo pledged over 50 million bucks to that corrupt government for A VOTER ID PROGRAM as his Just Us department has blown well over that amount trying to PREVENT STATES FROM REQUIRING PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP HERE??)
Sorry for the rant. Here are those paragraphs that condense much of the legal info in this piece: (See the link below for the entire piece.)

P. A. Madison, a modern day master of constitutional analysis, points out that “since illegal aliens are unlawfully in the US, their native country has a proper and primary claim of allegiance on the child. Thus, the completeness of their allegiance to the US is impaired, which therefore precludes automatic citizenship.” Slam dunk obvious, I’d say.
Also, Rep. Aaron Sargent, a representative from California during the Naturalization Act of 1870 debates, said the 14th Amendment’s citizenship clause was not a de-facto right for aliens to obtain citizenship. Significantly, none of his contemporaries disputed that assertion.
Adding to this mix, here is a little case law since the 14th’s ratification.
In the Slaughterhouse Cases(1873), the Supreme Court observed that the 14th Amendment overturned the Dred Scott decision by making all persons born within the United States and subject to its jurisdiction, citizens of the US; the ruling went on to point out “that [the 14th Amendment’s] main purpose was to establish the citizenship of the Negro” and that “the phrase ‘subject to its jurisdiction’ was intended to exclude from its operation children of ministers, consuls, AND citizens or subjects of foreign states born within the United States”, thus reinforcing Sen. Howard’s construction above. So, since they cannot be subject to US jurisdiction, children of citizens of foreign sovereignties and children of foreign ministers/consuls/ambassadors cannot be lawfully considered US Citizens. Makes perfect sense.

I am just making fun of all the establishment types whistling past the graveyard who do not want to acknowledge how much we despise the establishment, who rule against us by duplicitous means.

Treaty talk doesn’t matter now.

When Americans talk ‘treaty talk’, America’s enemies laugh because they are getting the $150+ Billion while we got our heads up our asses with ‘treaty talk’.

I hope you can see how damn stupid we are.

Thank you for the explanation - I sure didn’t hear about this on my formerly favorite TV news channel. If they did report it then I missed it completely.

I had thought that the Iran agreement was all about companies wanting to do business with Iran. I figured this is why the GOPe is letting zero get away with murder - because they’re paid to do so by the lobbyists.

D.C. is full of traitors.

You’re welcome. It should be clearer now. We will see over the next year how the American public wakes up to how they’ve been duped. You and I are part of the first wave only because we participate on FR. FR has always been at the forefront of a lot of ‘before it’s known’ news developments.

Spread the word.

That’s because illegals have advocates in the Executive Branch, on the courts, and in Congress: Mexico, Ecuador, San Salvador, China, the Vatican, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, “Palestinians”, Syria, Libya, Egypt, NOI, the Muslim Brotherhood and sisterhood, globalist Socialists and Marxists...a few American-Americans who act by the law and represent American-Americans.

I think you’re misunderstanding my comments.

I’m not advocating people be brought here to take jobs. I’m talking about the type of person that would create them. This person would have exceptional intellect or knowledge.

Einstein, Wernher van Bruan, or another person who would be an asset to the nation.

Try to pay attention.

It is the ‘treaty talk’ that you mentioned that does not matter now.

The Iran deal will be sent back to Obama with a disapproval but Obama will veto. So the exercise is for the history books but will heve no impact on today’s developments, because the enemy is getting what they want.

If they would vote to treat it as a treaty under the Constitution’s treaty clause, it would need 2/3 of the Senate to pass. Obama cannot veto a treaty. Since Obama has violated many provisions of the Corker bill, that is what should happen.

You don’t understand the process and that’s no insult to you because most don’t understand.

Congress does not vote “to treat” legislation as a treaty. A Treaty is negotiated by the President and is presented to the US Senate for approval. If the US Senate approves, it becomes law to all Americans.

The Corker Bill unfortunately was presented as ‘legislation’ and all legislation is subject to veto.

Obama never presented his Iran deal as a treaty. He said he wanted a bill, meaning legislation, patterned after his ‘deal’. He knew or his advisors knew that any bill could be vetoed.

Early on Congress did tell Obama to present his negotiation as a treaty to the Senate and when Obama balked, Senator Cotton led the effort of 47 US Senators to post a letter on the internet warning Iran that the US Congress was not in agreement with the deal negotiated by Obama.

Obama then gave Congress an ultimatim. He said if he did not have a bill presented to him, he would go around Congress to the UN and have the deal ratified there.

So Corker introduced the bill that Obama wanted and Ted Cruz railed and railed against it that Obama’s deal should be presented as a treaty. When McConnell lined up the Senators that he controlled, he passed the cloture which Ted Cruz voted against. But then Ted Cruz saw that stopping the Corker bill was a lost cause and he voted for it along with Senator Jeff Sessions because it presented an opportunity to delay the deal.

Again, as I posted before, Obama had promised Congress he would hold off going to the UN if they presented him a bill. But he broke his promise and went to the UN anyways. That means the $150+ Billion enters a phase of release so that the whole issue is moot except for recording votes for the history books.

Nothing can be done now. There will be war in 2 years.
