Cruz Accuses Megyn Kelly of Asking ‘Mainstream Media Liberal’ Question

Texas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) accused Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly of asking “the question every mainstream media liberal journalist wants to ask” and “the question Barack Obama wants to focus on” on Tuesday’s “Kelly File” on the Fox News Channel. Cruz was asked about his support for ending birthright citizenship and whether this means he favors amending the Constitution, he answered, “Well, as a policy matter, Megyn, it doesn’t make any sense anymore, that people who are here illegally, that their children would have automatic citizenship. That what that does is it serves as an incentive encouraging people to break the law and come here illegally. And we ought to change that policy. Now, as you noted there is a legal dispute about the best means to do it. And there are serious scholars who argue that Congress could do it through statute defining what it means to be subject to the jurisdiction, the language of the 14th Amendment.

Megyn Kelly eyeing move to Fox News’ rival?

A New York Magazine writer and author of the 2014 book about Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, “The Loudest Voice in the Room,” said in a recent televised interview the cable station’s biggest star, Megyn Kelly, may not be re-engaging in public disputes with presidential hopeful Donald Trump because she doesn’t want to hurt her chances to move to a more mainstream network, like CNN.

Kelly, on the heels of widespread criticism of her debate night questioning of Trump – after which the billionaire businessman called her a “bimbo” in a tweet – went on what she and Fox officials said was a long-planned vacation. Trump, on the other hand, claimed her vacation was due to the fireworks she faced from her presidential debate questions about his previous treatment of women. As soon as she returned, he retweeted messages from Twitter posters that once again, called her a “bimbo.”

Various Fox personalities called Trump wrong for reigniting the dispute with Kelly, while Ailes came out and called for the presidential contender to apologize.

Kelly, meanwhile, took the high road and didn’t directly respond to Trump’s latest attacks. And Newsmax TV host Steve Malzberg wanted author Gabriel Sherman to explain why. “I think she, up until this point, was kind of the fastest rising star at Fox,” Sherman said. “She was really becoming the face of the network. ... I don’t think she wants to get down in the weeds and in the gutter...

Stop your childish whining/defending of MK!

I am not defending Megyn Kelly at all. I am tired of the Cruz and Rump fanboys whining about "unfair" questions.

It is a legitimate question and Cruz could not give a clear, concise answer.

I am a “Rump fanboys” and i am kind of tired of the feud.

ALthough, it was a calculated attack on the part of MK, and Freinds. in an embarrassing attempt to eliminate him early on. Its in the dust bin as far as i am concern.
Rump has come out the victor and Megyn is scrabbling to maintain the lifestyle she has become accostume to.
Lets move on and enjoy the current victims of Rump’s Rath.
Wiener boy, Cantor and whoever that chick was from CNN.

Go RUMP!

The time has come to deal with the American marxists once and for all.

The CPUSA thorough its front group the Democratic Party is very much alive and in full control of the WH, the DOJ, and the Press.

In fact, the CPUSA is responsible for the Hussein Obama rise to the Presidency. His handler is the Iranian communist Valerie Jarrett.

The CPUSA has organized the American lacks, homosexuals, and illegal aliens into a de facto Shock Troop.

It has operatives in all Federal Agencies including the FBI and CIA as well as State and Local governments and unions.

Their game is to use blacks , homosexuals, and illegal alien as a means to destabilize American Society, transform our national demographic into a white minority ,weaken our military, and destroy our educational system, economy and way of life.

Even now they are brazenly executing white cops and reporters in broad daylight

The CPUSA is wildly succeeding, not only managing to accomplish their goals but confound the GOP into not even recognizing that they are behind the operation.

In order to eliminate this threat, the CPUSA and those allied with it must be ruthlessly pursued and neutralized no matter where they may be.

No longer bothering to hide and operate in the shadows, they are now out in plain sight and are easy pickings.

Upon regaining power in 2017 the counter attack by the hard Right must be swift and merciless.

Hit the marxists so hard they will never recover or have the ability to win national office ever again.

Cruz should man up and get used to it. Almost all the questions he’ll field are from the mainstream media.

Man up? He gave better than he got. Machine Gun Kelly will have to do here drive by attacks elsewhere. Trump and Cruz "Trumped" her pitiful attacks.

For Megyn Kelly to say that any child born in the US is a citizen of the US shows how much she actually knows about the Constitutions wording/edict. Many persons are taking the arguments pro and/or con of birthright citizenship to be centered on the words ‘and subject to the jurisdiction thereof’. Ann Coulter, a lawyer, has rightfully and correctly put the kibosh on such wording being the final closure of the arguments. She points out that there are following words just as important. The included words ‘and of the state wherein they reside’ means just that, ie. a person must have ‘residence’ in the state. As such an ‘anchor baby’ cannot be a resident of a state unless certain criteria are or have been established. I know of no state in the US that grants legal residence after a short stay let alone a few hours. Ann has locked the door as to ‘anchor babies ‘ being citizens.

Reported on Thursday that Megyan Kelly’s show has LOST 361,000 viewers since her return on Monday, ouch, that’s gotta hurt her ego.

I was one of them. I sent my e mail in too. Isn't modern technology grand?

I used to really like Megyn. She has become the classic case of a girl who got too big for her pants. She comes off as thinking she is too clever and then some.

I chuckled after the debate kerfuffle when she claimed she “would continue to do good journalism”.

There was nothing resembling “good journalism” in that debate.

The only reason the ratings were good was because of Donald Trump. People didn’t tune in to see Megyn, Brett, and Chris, even though nobody bothered to tell them that. LOL

Megyn should have been able to discern that her question to Trump using a remark about a woman that just happened to be Rosie O’Donnell was a monumental mistake.

One could see that she was made a fool of.

That was not Trump’s fault, it was her fault. The fact that she can’t admit to doing such a stupid thing proves she has gotten too big for her pants.
