If you look beyond the obvious present circumstances...history will demonstrate Trump destroyed her, or at least was the tool that helped her commit journalistic suicide. Before the debate, she had a chance to grab the golden ring, she could have been a classy lady and professional..and she would have eventually become great. But she chose quick fame and fortune, missed the gold ring and now sits defamed in the pew with Candy Crowley, Katie Curic and Dan Rather. Amazing the choices people make. One night, a career totally blown.
So she throws mud, but doesn’t want to get down in the weeds... Right... That makes some sort of warped sense...
She’s probably so arrogant she thinks she alone would raise their ratings.

I personally believe that a lot of people in media, politics and government are being blackmailed. I think historically it has always gone on but with the technology we have today it is easy for a few people to access more private info and have more physical proof of wrong doing. I think that the amount of blackmail that has been happening more and more each year, starting with when the Clintons controlled the white house.....remember Craig Livingstone and the FBI files he was caught with.

I've thought for a few years that Megyn and Shep were auditioning for one of the older three networks. Didn't think they'd consider a move to CNN.
But rather than Megyn avoiding getting "down in the weeds", I definitely believe her behavior at the debate was an attempt to impress the so-called mainstream networks. She was the first one to get down in the weeds.
I had read that her ratings had plummeted just after the debate. Does that mean everybody came back afterwards? That seems pretty odd.

The Republican politics are exciting right now with Trump Cruz etc, Conservatives tune into Fox news at Prime time, would make no difference who was hosting

What’s with the sarcasm, my man? An article about Megyn Kelly based on a question from a no-name reporter to a man who once wrote a book about Fox News is CLEARLY a primary source, worthy of multiple FR threads.
In all seriousness, though, for as much as FReepers say they can’t stand her, they sure do spend a lot of energy thinking and talking about her.
