Hillary Clinton’s Handling of Email Issue Frustrates Democratic Leaders
NY Times ^ | 8/27/2015 | PATRICK HEALY, JONATHAN MARTIN and MAGGIE HABERMAN

Democratic leaders are increasingly frustrated by Hillary Rodham Clinton’s failure to put to rest questions about her State Department email practices and ease growing doubts among voters about her honesty and trustworthiness.

On top of that, many say, her repeated jokes and dismissive remarks on the email controversy suggest that she is not treating it seriously enough.

Interviews with more than 75 Democratic governors, lawmakers, candidates and party members have laid bare a widespread bewilderment that Mrs. Clinton has allowed a cloud to settle over her candidacy — by using a private email server in the first place, since it was likely to raise questions about her judgment, and by not defusing those questions once and for all when the issue first emerged in March.

(lots of comments from Big Donks)

Rosalind Wyman, a veteran Democratic national committeewoman from California who is also a Clinton supporter, said Mrs. Clinton had not shown enough urgency in battling questions about her judgment, and complained that the campaign’s responses to the controversy — and the federal inquiries that have followed — were becoming only more muddled.

“The only thing Hillary can do, I think, is get out there in front of reporters and take five hours of questions — if that’s what it takes — until people understand her, at least, and hopefully believe her,” Ms. Wyman said. “And we have to have people who are talented, independent experts on classified secrets defending her on television, rather than who we have now.”

Five hours of Hillary dodging, weaving, and trying to defend the indefensible? Where's the popcorn?

Defending the indefensible; that’s exactly what they are asking her to do. It can’t be done. I love watching the media beg Clinton to “make it go away,” while Clinton sits back expecting the media to do the same.

Do we really want Hillary to do this? Wouldn’t we all rather watch Carville spit at us on cable TV shout shows how this is all bull blank fabricated by a biased media???

Wouldn’t we rather see Lanny Davis cleaning up after the Clintons????

5 hours of:

Woulda, shoulda, coulda

At this point what difference does it make

Vast right wing conspiracy

I switched to SnapChat

I printed off 55,000 pages from 30,000 emails

Everyone of my predecessors did the same thing.

It was technically legal

” her repeated jokes and dismissive remarks on the email controversy suggest that she is not treating it seriously enough.”

So, works for Obama but not for her. I guess white privileged doesn’t buy much these days.

Well, of course!

The problem isn’t that Hillary has lied, stolen and had people murdered over Libya.

The problem is that she’s not a good enough liar.

Yes, I can see why they are Democrats.

Well put.

The problem for Hillary, of course, is that there is NO way to defend what she did.

She set up the private server so there would be no evidence against her after she left office. Period. And that’s what voters see - someone trying to hide damaging evidence.

How can she spin that? It’s impossible.

That’s why she’s tanking - she’s lost the voter trust and can’t get it back.

The first two sentences from the article:

1. Democratic leaders are increasingly frustrated by Hillary Rodham Clinton’s failure to put to rest questions about her State Department email practices and ease growing doubts among voters about her honesty and trustworthiness.

COMMENT: “Put to rest???” Are they serious. Put to rest?

2. On top of that, many say, her repeated jokes and dismissive remarks on the email controversy suggest that she is not treating it seriously enough.

COMMENT: Obama has his finger one inch away from a button marked INDICT and we are being asked to believe that Hillary is not taking this seriously. There is no way that Hillary can control future events if that button gets pushed. Unbelievable journalism.

All ideology aside, can American live through another four years of Clinton drama emotional abuse? She’s not even in office, and we’re living life in a blender because of Clinton felonies and lies. There’s an evil aura that follows them wherever they go. It’s just too much.

Ed Henry of Fox asked 3 questions of Herthighness, and her snippy response was that she would only answer one of them (as that was the only number that she deemed he was entitled to ask).

That rude and dismissive attitude will not work, and the same questions will be asked over and over, again. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have any believable answers.

Once you understand that Hillary, Inc. was a clearinghouse for selling state secrets to foreign governments, every single data point is easily explained.

Democratic leaders are increasingly frustrated that Hillary didn’t hide her treason better. Most of them do.

Elite democrats - like the kind at the New York Times - think crimes can be washed away by the 'right apology to the right person'...

Meaning liberal elites apologize to each other. Yes, 'if only Hillary had apologized to the elite editors at the New York Times...sooner....'

If flyover acted the same it would mean a bank robber could 'apologize' to a friend and it would 'all be OK' if his apology was 'sincere and passionate'. He could even keep the loot.

Democrats are that vile... the only reason this is even being discussed is the mean old FBI might have proof a crime was committed... and the FBI's not stupid enough to fall for the 'elites only have to apologize to each other' ... because they're soooooooooooo superior to the little people who must follow the law...
