MEGYN KELLY: THE FIRST CASUALTY IN DONALD TRUMP’S ‘ASYMMETRIC’ WAR ON FOX NEWS
Breitbart ^ | August28,2015 | Matthew Bolye

Posted on 08/28/2015 5:31:27 AM PDT by Hojczyk

2016 GOP frontrunner and billionaire Donald Trump already won his war with the Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly.

She’s exposed as having a point of view, rather than being a purely impartial arbiter of news. Now he’s just having fun as a larger war between him and the network’s powers-that-be looms.

But what Trump has done in a truly special manner is expose that fallacy. It’s not that Trump’s war with Kelly isn’t petty—it is, and it is probably counterproductive to be fighting with a television personality for weeks on end as he’s soaring in the polls. He could be fighting with the Mexican or Chinese governments or with Democrats or his fellow GOP candidates—all of which would be more conducive to helping him earn more supporters—but Trump isn’t someone who backs down easily–and since Kelly came after him, not the other way around, he feels like he needs to win. Well, in the regard of whether or not Kelly is in fact impartial, Trump has a decisive victory.

That doesn’t mean that Kelly will see a drop in ratings or a loss of status in the media. She’s still the top dog on the Fox News Channel, and her show still gets incredible ratings. Until a credible competitor emerges—CNN and MSNBC certainly haven’t been able to make the cut—she’ll remain there, just like O’Reilly and Hannity have. But Trump has taken one thing away from her that she and her bosses at Fox can never replace, no matter how much time or money they spend on it: the appearance of impartiality.

I’ve been watching Rachall Madcow. At least I know where she stands!! She is not a liar on FAUX news. Actuall( this is blasphemy here) but Madcow has been good lately . Far mor fair that suggesting the Trump hated all women when ,in Jack, he just hated Rosie O’Donnell. We will never watch her again. She was completely destroyed, not by Trump, by her own assassinating attempt on Trump that blew up in her aging face.

If indeed Donald Trump is asked this question, he needs to give a better answer than pouting and calling the questioner names. He looked petty. Resorting to name-calling is like a little kid who is crying over some sort of insult.

It worked out quite well for him and not so much for the attack bimbo. I think he understands how much we despise the establishment gestapo and he outed her as one of them.

“She’s already seen a drop in ratings. “

13% since Monday with a 22% increase in viewership on the CNN show that airs opposite her. That will get Roger Ailes attention if it continues.

Bias can be subtle.

When she interviewed Jorge Ramos, everyone knew that an opportunity to pile on Trump was possible.

Kelly must do everything possible to prevent the appearance of piling on.

This means relentless challenges to Ramos on why disrupting another person’s press conference is warranted? Apparently she asked, but if she rolled over, (and she did) it’s wrong. It’s bias.

Much like the concept that there is no such thing as an illegal person, there is no such thing as ownership of a press conference.

He represents stealing our country by sneaking in as well as stealing our ability to select our leaders.

Ramos and Univision should be banned from all future Trump events.

How about that rape accusation?

No one — including the yellow journalists at Fox News — brings up the fact that Megyn started this whole rhubarb with an unpardonable piece of false and putrid tabloid journalism.

I watched the evenings of July 27th and 28th. The adorable Megyn dredged up an old story — a 10-plus-year-old story that was a lie — and spent many minutes, venom dripping from her fangs, intimating the Donald had raped his wife Ivana.

This was the ultimate in tabloid journalism trash, far beneath Fox and the Kelly File even if it had not been dismissed as false by Ivana.

The next night, Megyn doubled down on her duplicity, interviewing the original sleaze vendor from the Daily Beast. It was obvious from Kelly’s almost diabolic gleeful demeanor, she was savoring every ounce of sewage. As unfair and unbalanced as I’ve witnessed on Fox.

The moral: Cute doesn’t come through when you’re a snarling whatever.

When NAFTA was passed and Clinton and Dole stood beside each other in their victory pose I said “When Clinton and Dole agree on something it can’t be good for the people.”

Now ALL of the media, the democrats AND the republicans agree on being against Trump. That tells me I should be FOR Trump.

>>Until a credible competitor emerges

We don’t have to watch a news channel in that time slot. The OFF switch is a credible competitor for the Progressive “in the tank” media.

It’s not that she hates everyone but Bush. She wants Bush to be the nominee so Hillary can win. Never forget she danced across the stage when Obama was announced the winner.

Totally agree.

And if this is true that she is wanting to go “mainstream”, it looks like she is retreating and running away with the excuse that she is going to bigger and better.

In media appearances are everything. If this is true that she is leaving, things must be very bad for her right now because it appears as if she is retreating from a very big defeat.

Yes. I don’t know the word but she spun around twice with her arms stretched out when he was announced the winner. I haven’t watched her since. Plus, about a year ago I killed cable.

I knew she was a statist lib from her constant pushing of the homosexual agenda. Also, I think she has a problem with alpha males - she has married two betas, and she openly detests Trump and Cruz.

Kudos to Trump and the people at Breitbart for exposing her for what she is. I’m sure Cruz knows as well, but he’s not a street fighter like Trump.

the appearance of impartiality.

I saw this lack of impartiality from her long before Trump exposed her.
She had on a doctor who didn't agree with so-called "same-sex parents"
adopting children and all she could do is ask this guy
"Why do you hate homosexuals?"
Right there, I lost any respect I had for the female because,
at that point, she sounded no different than the modern-day liberal.

Trump: "retweeted included ones that called Kelly a “bimbo,” as having come back from her vacation “looking like Nancy Grace,” and the real dagger, that her program has “become an opinion show.”
