Trump vs. Jorge Ramos on Birthright Citizenship, Wall: "Building A Building That's 95 Stories Tall" More Difficult

full title

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos took on Donald Trump at a press conference held by the Republican presidential candidate in Dubuque, Iowa on Tuesday evening. The two went head to head for five minutes over birthright citizenship, how Trump would build a wall, how he would deport illegal immigrants and more. Trump fought back against Ramos and attempted to get him to acknowledge crime committed by illegal immigrants.

Earlier, Ramos was ejected from the presser for stepping out of turn.

Ramos asked Trump how he would erect a 1900-mile long border.

TRUMP: Very easy. I'm a builder. That's easy. I build buildings that are 94 --

(INTERRUPTION)

TRUMP: Can I tell you what's more complicated? What's more complicated is building a building that's 95 stories tall.

Trump battles Ramos on deportation

TRUMP: The one thing we're going to start with immediately are the gangs, and the real bad up ones. And you do agree there are some bad ones. Do you agree or do you think everyone is just perfect? No. I asked you a question. Do you agree with that? We have tremendous crime, we have tremendous problems -- I can't deal with this.

Listen, we have tremendous crime, we have tremendously, we have some very bad ones and I you would agree with that, right? There's a lot of bad ones. Real bad ones. Excuse me. They looked at some of the gangs in Baltimore, they looked at some of the gangs in Chicago, they looked even in Ferguson. They got some rough, illegal immigrants in those gangs.

In the case of Ramos and Univision, “MSM” means “Mexican Separatist Media”

Trump is the only one talking about building a wall and deporting illegals. The others ruining aren't Trump is the only one that can save American as those are the things needed

All the other politicians running haven't motioned building a wall nor deporting illegals .

It's because the rest are owned by rich donors and are scared of the media and don't really are for these things also

We really need to start a meme here to back up the negotiations for Mexico to eagerly pay for the wall.

The meme: annex the northern states of Mexico for a buffer zone.

Why are we putting up a wall so close to our border? Do we really want to risk the lawlessness of the cartels and the incredibly corrupt Mexican government next to our border? As we seem to have picked up a large portion of the mexican population, we might as well get the territory too.

A wall that's the equivalent of one million stories long?

I noticed he limited his denying ‘birthright citizenship’ remarks to immigrants who obviously did not intend to have a domicile here... the law is clearly on his side on that.

Ge! Jorge! You Spaniards already have Mexico, Central and South America! Don’t be pigs. All our side has is North America. Why don’t you go fix those sewers south of the border and do down there what we did up here. Make them into great countries instead of ****holes. Just because some Pope told Spain many, many moons ago that they own the entire western hemisphere it doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.

Deport Ramos. He’s expendable and is taking up space here needed for other purposes.

after watching it, i’d swear he’s read some of my posts here on FR.

build the wall then deport the illegals. simple.

how can we build such a wall? easy. 6,000 miles of border (north and south)... 6,000 teams of 100 people each build 1 mile of the wall. should be completed within one year of start.

oh, and it’s more like 30m illegals ...

They looked at some of the gangs in Baltimore, they looked at some of the gangs in Chicago, they looked even in Ferguson. They got some rough, illegal immigrants in those gangs.

As anyone who lives in/around the Chicago area can attest to, the overwhelming majority of crime (murders for example...) happen in THREE Chicago neighborhoods that are overwhelmingly BLACK. When I say "overwhelmingly" read that damn' near 100%

When you hear about 6, 8, 10 murders and 50+ shootings happening on a weekend in Chicago, it's almost always in these three neighborhoods: Austin, Gresham and Englewood.

The train I take into the city of Chicago on a daily basis goes through Gresham and Englewood. I've posted pictures of those two neighborhoods here on FR in the past.

To describe Gresham and Englewood as bombed out warzones isn't a stretch, and in fact that's probably a kind description of what those two neighborhoods look like.

As for the Austin neighborhood in Chicago, there are still remnants of buildings that were firebombed and burned during the 1968 Democrat Convention riots in Chicago. Those remnants of buildings have been left there over 48 years now and never been removed, cleared or rebuilt. Why are those remnants of buildings still there? You tell me.

The Hispanic neighborhoods such as Pilsen for example have their own set of issues and crimes however multiple people getting shot and killed in Pilsen every weekend doesn't happen. BTW, I used to live not far from the Pilsen neighborhood and never had any issues there myself. In fact, we had several mexican restaurants that we loved going to and were always treated exceptionally well at them.

Good people in Pilsen IMO.

Disclosure: I'm not hispanic. I'm Irish and German.

Deport Ramos.

You can't deport a U.S. citizen.

As far as I am concerned, Mexico has declare war on the United States. They have violated our borders, stolen our national wealth, and violated our sovereignty.

They have invaded our land, sent us their criminals and their whores, and stuck us with the bill.

They have kidnapped Federal agents and tortured and murdered them.

We should invade 500 miles into Mexico, and place those who invaded our nation and broke our laws into that zone.

Then we keep a 250 mile buffer and tell them to stay out.

Ramos wasn’t asking questions, he was arguing. He’s a bitter, tiny man. Trump also reminded everybody that he’s suing Univision for $500 million.

Do you seriously think it is difficult to build a wall?

We can go to the moon, but can’t build a concrete and steel wall?

“You can’t deport a U.S. citizen.”

How did that jerk become a citizen? We need fast track legislation to strip citizenship from the offensively stupid. It can be titled the “Deport Idiots Like Jorge Ramos” bill.
