Trump's presser before the rally today in IA. Check out about 2:45 in where he tells the Univision reporter to sit down :) The guy was later let back in and Trump allowed him to ask several questions. I thought he did well. Lots of questions about Fox and Megyn Kelly.

Well, we’re already making this an interesting election cycle. If cruz can wrap this up on votes, he still offers a massive nationwide infrastructure that that, if it happens, Trump does not have in place. Cruz brings a lot to the table, and would provide incredibly intelligent council. The ticket would be very strong, IMHO. But again, it’s a long way to November 2016. Remember that Giuliani was the choice candidate at this point in 2008.

That might explain Cruz's definition of amnesty as only being "a pathway to citizenship," but otherwise thought that giving 40 million illegal aliens legal status was a good idea. Cruz also opposed the idea of challenging birthright citizenship maybe just a year or two ago.
Trump is better on Immigration, the most important issue of this election. Cruz falls short and thus can't be allowed the top part of the ticket.

Why isn’t this a big deal? He’s either lying to Christians to ingratiate himself, or he’s lying to himself regarding the most important thing in life, his relationship with God.
