CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Across the country Saturday, pro-life supporters got together to protest Planned Parenthood with the goal of getting the federal government to cut funding for the organization.
Closer to home, a group gathered at the Women’s Choice Clinic in Charleston.
Dozens gathered outside the clinic Saturday afternoon and were just a few of the thousands protesting Planned Parenthood nationwide.
“They are harming unborn children, and even the parents in the meantime. They’re harming the mothers who come in. Not only physically, but emotionally,” Amanda Perkins said.
Planned Parenthood has been in the spotlight recently when videos of employees were secretly filmed talked about extracting fetal tissue from aborted babies.
“I think it’s time for us to stand up and to oppose this barbaric practice and to not allow our tax payer dollars to go toward this,” Melody Potter said.

The one here in Grand Rapids, MI got a big turnout. Didn’t see any counter-protests either, even though our chamber of horrors is located in a heavily leftist area. It is likely none of the lefties have any idea about the videos because the Daily Show isn’t talking about them, or they rather not engage and draw attention to the story.

Pretty good turnout here in Albuquerque—Someone said media estimated 500 people. Mrs Moonhawk and I were in attendance. A few loonies, but they shouted themselves hoarse pretty quickly.

We had about 25 to 30 people turn out. I was the only Freeper. I know, I asked!

I want them to end it. All of it, forever.
We had a decent turnout in Akron and afterwards my daughter and I went to Lock3 to see a pretty good blues band, then a Mo-Town cover act, just got back.

In short, this guy from Pine Bluff had the sense to change because of the Planned Parenthood videos. This is a big deal.

I read the AP story on this, they didn’t even make it clear that the guy left because of the Planned Parenthood videos, looks like Same-Sex Marriage was also an issue.
