Donald Trump Won’t Eat Oreos Ever Again Since Nabisco is Moving to Mexico

Presidential candidate Donald Trump hosted an event last night in Alabama that saw between 18,000 and 20,000-plus people in attendance.

Roll tide, apparently.

During his speech, “the Donald” mentioned how he is a big fan of Oreo cookies, but will refuse to ever eat them again since Nabisco plans on moving to Mexico.

From The Blaze:

“You know, Mexico is the new China,” Trump told the crowd, referencing the recent decision by Nabisco to move its factories there.

“I love Oreos. I’ll never eat them again. Okay? I’ll never eat them again,” Trump said. “No, Nabisco closes the plant, they just announced a couple of days ago, in Chicago and they are moving the plant to Mexico. Now, why?”

“I don’t blame China. I respect them,” Trump said. “I’m not angry at them. I’m angry at our leaders for being so stupid. I’m not angry at China.”

Oreos — more specifically, Nabisco — caused the ire of the billionaire presidential contender after the company announced its decision not to invest the $130 million for a factory upgrade and will move production across the county’s southern border into Mexico. Nabisco also recently shut down its Philadelphia factory in an effort to expand factories in Virginia and New Jersey, although union members believe their jobs will eventually be outsourced to Mexico as well.

You know things are bad when American workers fear losing their jobs to outsourcing in order for the company to employ cheap laborers.

He’s not wrong about China. What the communist nation is doing is capitalizing on the weakness of current American leaders. They’re taking advantage of a flaw in our highly liberal system that disincentivizes making money.

What would be great about a Trump presidency is that he will not kowtow to any foreign land, and will always put the American people first. There won’t be an Obama-like Middle East apology tour under Trump, that’s for certain.

Lol, so head on to North Carolina and seek out some great furniture bargains: Broyhill, Bassett, National Furniture Company, National Mt. Airy, so many famous old brands to choose from. There are outlets all over the state and you can save a bundle by buying right there in the heart of America’s furniture production.

Protectionist!!! Lol, coming from you, just as meaningful as being called a racist by Al Sharpton.

Commie calling me a racist. Nothing new.,p> Lol, you're just as inane and irrelevant as always. Facts bother you, so you avoid them and resort to your usual inanity.

Your response:

Commie calling me a racist. Nothing new.

And learn to read, or maybe find your high school English teacher and have him or her diagram the sentence at the top of this post for you.

I didn't call you a commie. I said your slurs are about as meaningful as Al Sharpton's slurs.

Totally true.

perhaps the bigger problem is why we allow 50 million people to receive food stamps or whatever.

I agree with you. I have always agreed that we need a safety net for the truly needy, and that those who cheat are simply the price to be paid.

I no longer think that is the best course. The dependency caused by addiction to social handouts far outweighs the benefit of the truly needy being given help BY THIS PROGRAM.

There needs to be a redesign of a program so that it actually targets the truly needy.

I would favor a nomination process from a town council or a county board of commissioners before anything can go forward. Something that gets taxpayer eyes on the persons who are actually receiving the benefits. I would cut out social workers whose importance depends on the size of their clientele.

My comment #172 was not a “slur.” And you are an example.

No we don’t. Let’s say the accommodation cost one penny. How on earth is justice served in granter her 41 years of pay? Notice that you’re arguing in favor of government control of business. If they’d fired her one day before she learned she had MS would it be OK?

That’s situational ethics in which the person and the situation makes the difference. Laws should be objective and obvious. Don’t you see the menace in this kind of arbitrariness?

It’s the same thing you’re arguing for. Who pays that $2 million? It comes out of the pockets of American workers and drives businesses offshore. Thank a central planner and the fools supporting her.

You need to notice that I'm not arguing anything. I just asked for more information because you provided very little.

And you're playing that tired old game of attributing statements or beliefs to another poster which the poster has not in any way stated, and then putting forth arguments in opposition to the statements that were never made.

Just make a new post and make whatever point you were tryng to make rather than wasting everyone's time.

Government is the major driver behind offshoring. Trump (D-NY) is in favor of more government. If government is the problem, Trump (D-NY) is not the solution.

Oh yes it was a slur, and the common tactic used to avoid addressing the reality and results of US trade policy. You're as quick or quicker with your accusations of "protectionist" as Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson are with their accusations of "racist".

And it's all done for the same reason: a diversion and an Alinsky tactic used to avoid rational discussion of a topic.

I was at the grocery yesterday, and intentionally did not buy oreos, intentionally did not get a Starbucks, and intentionally did not buy Ben and Jerrys.
