It is the height of arrogance to think that you do not need God’s plan of redemption or that you can come a different way than His way. All these people are looking for the Living Water that only Christ can give them. Sex is good - God made it. But you can fill that hole in your soul with it. The harder you try, the deeper down the rabbit hole you go until you have destroyed yourself. Only Christ can fill that deep longing of a human heart for fulfillment and real joy and real love. These folks don’t know it but they are really looking for God.

Of people who actually did register and are being exposed now the question is whether you want to play the "buyer beware" card. That is, is there a degree of stupidity involved in registering on line that one is up for an affair that means that all the trouble and embarrassment and pain that comes up when one is exposed is somehow justified?
You can think of it as the "Darwin Awards" card as well. We routinely laugh at people for doing "stupid" things -- why not laugh (or scoff) now?
The majority of the 36 million hacked emails belonged to guest accounts. These were free and could be set up under any assumed name or email. Of course, interaction on the site was very limited with guest accounts.

However, if you are looking for clandestine sex because you are too afraid to be honest with your spouse, or, and especially if you want an anonymous interaction because you are afraid that being honest and risking a divorce, do not be surprised when your name is revealed.

We are all imperfect people. We all make mistakes or do things we regret or wish we hadn’t. The Ashley Madison users in danger of exposure are the ones who publicly and piously espouse highly moral and or puritanical viewpoints. The joe or jane sixpack users have nothing to worry about because no one cares. The highly moralistic public figures who hold others up as examples of sin have the most to fear. I hear ya. Normally, I am of the belief that a certain amount of hypocrisy is actually good and necessary for society to function. Can you imagine a world where everyone was actually proud and self-satisfied about every vice they have? OK. Might be fun! LOL!
