For those of you who are unfamiliar with him, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is a the best selling author of both "The Harbinger" and "The Mystery of the Shemitah."

Cahn is a Messianic Jew, and a devoted man of God.
I believe what he speaks is prophetic, and his words echo sound and true.
The dire warnings to America he spoke of our nation's race towards Godlessness (and looming judgment) in "The Harbinger" are eerily coming to pass.
Even more dire, Cahn has discovered that the ancient Shemitah cycle of 7 years that God ordained in Leviticus also follows recent patterns in America indicating economic and other calamity at the end of the Shemitah for a nation that walks away from God. What the Lord intended as a blessing every 7 years becomes a curse and judgment for the nations that curse the Almighty.
This coming end of Shemitah is also a "Super Shemitah", meaning that it ends a pattern of seven (a number God uses to mean completion) Shemitahs of 49 years, ending in the Biblical year of Jubliee.
We also have the last of the Blood Moons coming in September, and this will be a "Super Moon", closer to the earth and appearing about 14% greater in size (full perigee) and 25 times brighter than a micro moon.
Rabbi Cahn's message is about 13 minutes long, and located HERE.
It is all not doom and gloom, but full of wisdom, encouragement, and prudence. I urge anyone reading this to watch it.
Cahn reminds us that God does not have to act, that is up to Him, and His timing. However, the wise heed advice, and prepare. Spiritually first, and then physically.

but the more I read about CERN the more uneasy I become with this project. Are the global science elite making a huge joke by using “666” as the CERN logo, putting the complex on top of an ancient temple to a pagan destroyer god, and having a 24/7 lighted statue of Shiva god of death and destruction at the entrance to the complex? (Shiva - recently featured on the Empire State Building- what were the owners of this building thinking??

Cahn states on this message that God does not have to act. He is soverign, not us. Nothing may happen, but it is wise to be prepared, and to watch.
The last two Shemitah years ended this way for America: in 2001 there was a tremendous stock market crash on Elul 29 in the Jewish calendar. Seven years later, again on Elul 29, the stock market had its greatest crash in history, 777.7 points.
Cahn is saying there is a pattern here, and God is the supreme mathematician.
Many people say "But America is not Israel." That is true. But they should consider this: only two nations in the history of humanity were founded on God's Word and dedicated to Him, Israel and America.
The Bible is also clear that not only does God judge individuals, but He also judges nations.
Our nation has rejected God, and now we are persecuting His saints. Christians who don't bow to homosexuality are having their lives and businesses ruined. It was Obama that launched and funded what became ISIS, and that evil hoard has raped, mutilated, murdered, enslaved, and tortured Christians on a scale not seen in a millennium.
We are ripe for judgment, and God uses judgment as a sign to both the believers and the wicked. His wrath, however, is only aimed at the wicked, but we may experience judgment in our lifetime, and I believe we will. The ancient Israelites were there when the plagues of Egypt came came to Pharaoh and his people.
The next end of Shemitah is Elul 29, Sept 13th. Something may happen before or after that date, or it may not.
But I know this:
Satan is on the move.
So is God.
WHENEVER it all comes down, we’ve been told the elites of the world will be counting on their deep underground bunkers (mountains and rocks to hide them from the face of Him) to keep them toasty and dry and well-fed and safe.
Won’t be sufficient to avoid Him in that Day.

Yeah, when I read those verses, I immediately thought of the underground bunkers.
They can run, but they can’t hide.
Actually I believe that G_d will place us where he wants us to be. We are always told to be patient and wait upon the Lord. He has us in His hands and will place us where we can be of use in His ministry, even in the face of calamity.
I also believe that an enormous number of believers feel like they are living in the midst of Sodom and Gomorrah. There are also those who think that G_d would never destroy the US, because of our Christian history.
Both Judah and Israel were destroyed by powerful countries (Assyria and Babylon), that were in no way following the Lord. G_d used these countries to chastise and punish Judah and Israel.
We as believers need to wait upon the Lord, lean not upon our own understanding, and be prepared to defend our faith, and help our brothers and sister in the Lord survive. Some believers have been led by the Lord to stockpile supplies, make arrangements for clean water, or be prepared to move. More importantly this means that we need to pray unceasingly that our nation will return to Elohim, turn from its wicked ways, and embrace Yeshua.

I see you are on this thread too. I am paying attention. Haven’t expressed concerns to my family, but watching and learning. I HAVE expressed to Mr S, recently, that I feel more pushed to prepare for - “something”.
