Thanks for the clarification. I know about those cults & was afraid that he was one of them.
You don't pay attention to Scripture? Why do you think God revealed it to us? Almost 25% of the Bible is prophecy. Why do you think God put it in there? For us to read, and to study.
If and when Jesus returns, none of this matters.
"If" He returns? "...none of this matters?"
Those who love Jesus are looking for Him, for He is our blessed hope (Titus 2:13).
Matthew 25:1-13 describes the parable of the wise vs. foolish virgins. The bridegroom in the parable is Jesus, and the bride are true believers. The wise virgins have oil in their lamps and are ready for His return. The oil is the Holy Spirit. The foolish virgins are the ones who were invited, but who fell asleep, and did not watch and pay attention. Their oil went out, and the door to the feast was shut, they missed the groom, and He told them He didn't know them.
Then He warns:
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."
Matthew 25:13
“Pure mysticism based upon a second temple period interpretation of the Law.
The original meaning of the laws of Shemitta (the spelling of the transliteration used in the Schottentstin Talmud Yerushalmi Tractate Sheviis) are much more concrete.”
In other words, you haven’t read his works...
LOL, he still thinks Shemitta starts on Rosh Hashanah.
When the new edition comes out, you'll all be in for a serious shock. The pastoral meanings of these laws are currently buried under agro-urban academic thinking with mysticism covering for a misunderstanding of plain meaning (for historical reasons) that do more to validate the accuracy of the Torah as written than they do the existing interpretation of it.
His whole schtick was the precision of the timing, yet nothing happened.
I.e. he’s full of baloney. He’s on my fraudster pile now. All done with him.
What did he predict that didn’t happen?
When was it supposed to happen? What was the date he gave?
Where did he do that? Can you provide links?
If he’s a false prophet, he is, but if you’re going to make that claim, could you substantiate it?
He’s not a false prophet because he did not prophesy. Rather, he made predictions. Regarding dates, go to yotube and watch any of his videos older than 6 months that deal with shemitah.
It’s supposed to be something different? Pray tell.
He was very specific and said he was able to be. Yet the date came and went with no impact.
I’ve moved on from this guy. Regarding his general predictions, he and I are on the same page, as are most people paying attention. I.e. he brings nothing special to the table.
If we can accept a premise that nobody really can tell this in advance, we don’t get theological nonsense. We do get a picture of a God who operates much as Jesus did in the gospels — tells us various things in the form of paradoxes and riddles and then reveals the meaning in the fullness of time. Unlike the caricature made by atheists, God really does want people to think.
Provide a link.
Clearly you watched them if you’re making those claims.
And his calls to repentance before the leaders of this country mean nothing to you then?
Do false prophets call on people to repent and turn the the true and living God and put their faith in Christ?
Speech you were never supposed to see

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn Gives America a Final Warning
http://freedomoutpost.com/2015/05/rabbi-jonathan-cahn-gives-america-a-final-warning/
He is not a prophet, false or otherwise. And he did give a specific date if the nation did not repent, Which it didn’t.
What made him compelling was his specificity. Otherwise he was just another doom and gloomer like me. Once his specificity was proven to by wrong, he just became another Hal Lindsey clone - to me.
And yet, you have provided nothing to back your assertions.
Alrighty then.....
Watch his videos. I did. I rcommended them to people. I tell you what I told them: to to YouTube and search cahn shemitah. He’s specific. That is why it mattered in the first place.
