Donald Trump wants Fox News star 'fired'
World Net Daily ^ | 8/18/2015 | Cheryl Chumley

Donald Trump has a message he’d like to give Fox News political pollster Frank Luntz: You’re fired.

Fresh off his confrontation with Fox News superstar Megyn Kelly, Donald Trump is now lashing out at Luntz and calling on Fox News to fire him from overseeing its post-debate focus groups.

The participants in Luntz’s focus group bashed the real-estate mogul’s performance during the Fox News Republican presidential debate on Aug. 6, calling Trump “mean” and “bombastic.” Trump was quick to criticize the focus group, calling Luntz a “clown” and a “low class slob” on Twitter.

It has now come to light that prior to the debate, Luntz allegedly told attendees at a South Carolina fundraiser that Trump is “addicted” to attention and could hurt the Republican Party, according to Politico.

I wonder if we’ll ever see Megyn again on Fox.

She’s due back the 24th. Not that we ever watch her anyway.

Give the RINO’s and even the conservative republicans a break! They are hapless going against the wishes of their rich donors & superpacs. They can’t survive the campaigns from grass roots only who only contribute 30% average.

You are describing every single media outlet in the country, but yet I only see attacks on Fox News and such. I’m starting to find this fixation to be strange.

Then again I also find Trump supporters don’t want to talk about other issues and generally demean anyone who disagrees in any way.

You don't get it. There are a whole lot of people who are fed up with milquetoast gentleman Republican candidates like Milt Romley who won't stand up for anything or confront anybody except for fellow Republicans that they consider to be "divisive."

I want somebody "divisive. I don't want my President getting along with Democrats and RINOs.

Who says I don't understand? Just because I haven't fallen for the Trump spectacle doesn't mean I like milquetoast Republicans. It doesn't even mean that I don't agree with many of the things Trump says. I resent the accusation that not to be a Trumpite means that I prefer a GOPe candidate. I'm not one who stayed home in 2012, but there's a good possibility of my doing so in 2016. And Trump is one of the several candidates who could make me do so. Besides, what's that got to do with Trump telling FOX to fire Luntz? A little focus here, huh?

---------------------------

You have not been paying attention.Luntz has is the problem

I'm paying full attention, my FRiend. You seem to equate my belief that Trump shouldn't be throwing his weight around regarding who is on a network's payroll with my approval or disapproval of Frank Luntz. It really doesn't matter how I feel about Luntz which is always subject to change. It matters that Trump is not only trying to leverage whether he'll run as a Republican or a 3rd party candidate, he's also trying to manipulate (leverage) media coverage. NO presidential candidate should be doing that.

I agree that the coverage has helped Trump. It’s actually been a mutually beneficial relationship — one hand washing the other. My objection is Trump’s attempt to use his leverage in FOX employment matters. Who knows if he’ll take his thin-skinned little hiney on down the dial to the other media outlets and refuse to give FOX any air time until they fire Luntz? That would be very Obama-ish behavior. But not surprising. He needs to focus on formulating his policies and not on whether or not he gets the kid-glove treatment from a news outlet. I used to think the Dems were the biggest sissy babies re FOX News. Trump makes them look courageous.

No one called you an idiot. But since you’ve shown me how inarticulate you are and uncomfortable having an exchange of ideas, please feel free to scroll on by my posts henceforth. I expect an attempt at a snappy comeback in an effort to have the last word, so hit me with your best shot.

Anti-Trumpsters will say he is being petty and childish for pointing out the petty and childish nature of Fox. However, these same people also complain that the lamestream media is unfair to conservatives and Republicans, which makes their statements here hypocritical.

No doubt he’s entitled to his opinion. He’s not entitled to use it as leverage in the same way he threatened to run as a 3rd party candidate if he felt dissed by Republicans (in which case we can say hello to another Democrat in the Oval Office). Trump, as I’m sure you’re aware, doesn’t give his opinion so much as he throws his weight around. Two entirely different things.

I wish Lutz the Putz AND Tokyo Rove would go.

Rove said this morning, on F&F...before I could change the channel, that half of the conservatives don’t like Trump’s “Sen Sessions Blessed” immigration plan. He tries to mix his GOPe Dreamers into his count. No sale!

“My objection is Trump’s attempt to use his leverage in FOX employment matters.”

Why? Are you not adult enough to speak to the management of a business when as a customer you have been wronged??

THAT is what is wrong with the world, too many people without the maturity to speak up.

Calling anyone a “low class slob” makes me cringe a bit.

Such an elitist comment .

No, I didn’t say “Jebby.” My remarks are all directed at the petulant Donald Trump. As I told someone else, I’m not one who stayed home in 2012, but if either Jeb OR Trump is the Republican nominee, I will stay home in 2016.*

*I will not literally stay home as there will be candidates downballot I will want to vote for. I will just skip the top of the ticket.

Trump would be worse as a President because anyone whom he viewed as an enemy he would have arrested!

Up your dosage.

“He needs to focus on formulating his policies”

He just released his illegal immigrant plan.

Is refusing to appear on Fox (which he hasn’t said he’d do) because of Luntz being a sissy?
