That’s it for Trump. Now he’s going to fade. /s
This guy must have seen the wrong interview. The one I saw had Trump doing pretty well and he answered Chuck Todd on everything. In fact Trump turned the tables on Todd asking him questions and Todd ends up agreeing with him.
This looks like a hit piece.
It might have been combative.
With trump, it doesn’t really matter, he still gets his points out, and moves up in the polls.
Our sides problem all these years hasn’t been the interviewer.
It’s been our politicians.
Our side has weak, pussfied politicians.
Business Insider is anti Trump, at every turn.
Ground Chuck.

(Who is Chuck Todd? I really have no idea haven’t watched whatever channel he is on in at least 10 years yes, I’ve heard Rush mention F Chuck Todd but have no clue who this propagandist is.
Okay, fine. As long as F. Chuck conducts a similar tough interview with Hillary.
I watched all 37 minutes. Certainly the MSM doesn’t ask liberals ANY challenging questions, but Todd’s interview was reasonable and fair if we want journalists to push a little bit (as long as they push against both sides, which they don’t.) Trump did fine.
Calling that interview combative is to me totally mischaracterizing it - probably just to get readership from conservatives. It was a good, long interview which I hope lot of America watches/watched - they would learn that Trump is a well reasoned man with a good grasp of the issues and a global perspective that is no nonsense and doesn’t pretend that only politicians can understand the world. If he keeps this up he’s not going to derail.
Peddling a hit piece from the Dem owned Business insider with the
Chucky the clown whose wife actually works for the DNC !
Too funny ! Working for the enemy must be do gratifying ,
Since when would Trump be confronted with his “college record” if he were to win the Presidency?! Perhaps the writer would like to talk all about President Obama’s “college record”??
Some good, some bad. The immigration plan Trump just put out is great, but don’t think he was particularly good in this interview.
He doesn’t care one way or the other if Ukraine is in NATO? Doesn’t care? If Ukraine joined NATO we would almost be forced to war with Russia. On the other hand, doing nothing lets Russia dismantle Ukraine piece by piece. Gonna need a better position than “I don’t care either way”.
Trump’s for affirmative action apparently. I can see not taking on every issue at once, but affirmative action? It’s time for that to go away.
Trump is apparently for EDNA, or at least not opposed to it. This loathsome piece of legislation would not even allow traditional, religious company owners from parting ways with gays and lesbians in their workplace - opening them up to all manner of lawsuits.
The idea that the Mexican government is so smart has always been pretty silly. Much as I dislike Todd, Trump didn’t have much of a response when the facts were pointed out that Mexico is a basket case and pretty much entirely devoid of these “smart leaders” of which he speaks.
And it’s getting pretty tiresome hearing from Trump about how great he is, how great his companies are, how great a businessman he is, how great a deal maker he is, how great this, how great that, etc, etc. Geez, have a little humility. This stuff just gets old.
Still, he did put out quite possibly the best immigration plan I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. I’ll give him that.
Did Trump ask Toad why he wears that peckersniffer beard?
Next week: back to softball with liberal flavors of the week....
I had to stop watching the interview but it wasn’t because of Trump. Todd was just hard to look at and listen too.
Author came to BI from HuffPo, and Slate.
Just for context.
Now, I saw the interview. I'm struggling to think of exactly where Trump was "defensive" or for that matter, where F. Upchuck Todd even pushed him or asked a "difficult" question.
Honestly thought Trump did pretty well for the most part. A few rambling answers but I attribute that to not being a professional politician.
In the grand scheme of things, Trump did well in my book and frankly,I liked much of what he said.
Now, I've either completely disconnected from reality, or some Trump fans are just way too sensitive. Not sure which at this point......
Reminds me of the time #ChuckTodd ripped obozo a new one back in ‘08...oh...wait...
It is amazing to consider that Trump has even at this point taken more heat than obozo did in two races and six years of the presidency.
