See, this is what I say and try to do as well. As far as I’m concerned that’s what we ALL should do.
But there’s this attitude, or there seems to be, from people who are upset by politicians saying one thing and doing another who have closed ears on Trump. Or actually, maybe it’s wide open ears on Trump. Regardless, they’re of the belief we should take everything Trump says at face value and believe it wholesale.
Look, if he’s sincere, great. And maybe I’m wrong and the guy is sincere. I’ll still go with the guy with a PROVEN record of conservatism regardless as to who I’m backing.
I’m not going to forget that Trump does have a questionable record and a lifetime of being about doing what’s good for Donald Trump and selling that. I try not to impulse buy much of anything, and I sure as heck am not going to impulse buy Trump.
And while I listened/watched his speech from Michigan, 51 minutes of it, and he did make some good points, there was an AWFUL LOT of superfluous fluff, IMO.
But again, if people are momentarily entertained because of the “GOPe” stomping and just want to be momentarily entertained, that’s fine. No problem.
If they’re supporting him in an “all in manner” that’s their choice I guess. It isn’t mine. And again the only thing that mystifies and concerns me about all of it is what I said- seemingly not taking his record into account at all- and the unrealistic expectations I think people have of what he would actually do- and yeah I don’t like people displaying almost cult like attitudes with ANY one person. It starts with God and man, including any potus, builds off of that. If he doesn’t, he’ll fail. And if he fails, the country likely fails.

What law have politicians or yours passed to help America? I haven't seen them do anything good(not pass any good Law). And why aren't politicians even saying the correct solution to saving America which is deport “all illegals” (what Trump is saying).
I'm talking about laws passed.
He’s not a politician, but he’s not that far removed.
He spoke of running for president on 3 separate occasions before this, spoke of running for governor of New York twice, and ran for president once before.
But more than that, he’s a guy who’s made a lifetime of selling people on something, mostly himself. Obviously he’s done a great job of it.
Look if he’s your guy, he’s your guy. He’s not mine, but I’m not here to fight over it. I just want people to be careful and use their brains and not get carried away.
But we should have a dose of skepticism for what ANYONE says who’s running for office whether they’re a “politician” or not.
America bought into Obama based on his words alone in 2008. By 2012, if not before, a lot of people wanted a refund even if he was reelected.

Well we can’t keep going the way we have been going for the last few decades importing more leftist voters from the 3rd world(immigrants legal and illegals). They have to be deported if we are going to have any chance of turning the country around.
