Donald Trump says the last time America was great was “during the administration of Ronald Reagan.”
Donald Trump was on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday and told Chuck Todd that it was during the Reagan Administration, “you felt really proud. I don’t think since then to any great extent, people were proud.”

Chuck Todd was so irritating. Badgering Trump in some areas, misinformed without knowing how he was embarrassing himself in others.
Trump was so far above and beyond the guy it was funny.
I am inclined to agree with Mr. Trump.
He is so correct....I first voted for Kennedy...and if Kennedy was alive today he would be a Republican, I mean a true, Red Republican....
His daddy and Teddy were a$$hats but he and Robert were great people...I often wonder what our country would be like today if those two had lived...

I will settle for “almost as good” as Reagan. But Trump has been a very pleasant surprise during these dog days of summer.

Agree...we were in the process of repeating 2008 and 2012...this time against a woman-victim (as opposed to a black-victim, and in 8 years, a Hispanic-victim).
But EVERYTHING has changed. We now have a guy that simply WILL NOT be muzzled. And, at the very least, he has FORCED EVERY other Republican candidate that wants to exceed 0.00259% support to at least pay lip service to securing our borders. NO ONE, repeat NO ONE has come close to accomplishing that, not yet at least.
Fox people are really losing it. The antichrist? Well, Trump has a devilish sense of humor, but I don’t think that makes him the antichrist.

FWIW, Jake Tapper is a fair guy, and has good political sense. I think he leans left, but he seems to play it close to the vest.
I agree. All issues move to the left as more illegals vote and more 3rd world immigrants vote. Illegals and 3rd world immigrants vote for leftist causes

It was certainly better, but it was definitely no 1950’s by any stretch of the imagination.

WE GET IT! And so do MILLIONS of Democrats, even many black Democrats. That is why there is now ABJECT FEAR of Trump...they know he just may hand America back to AMERICANS and allow this country to be great again.
The plan they had, for generations now, to ‘transform this country’ is very close to being TOTALLY ELIMINATED. They must figure out how to stop Trump, and they are quickly running out of Useful Idiots on our side to help them.

CNN is likely SO LOST that they think if they make Trump our nominee then Hillary or equivalent will waltz into the White House.
I am JUST FINE with them thinking that way...because they will realize a year from now that it is too late to stop him. They simply have NO IDEA how much of this country is SICK of having to “Press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish”. It will an awakening that they have NEVER SEEN or even imagined.
