On “Fox News Sunday,” conservative columnist George Will said voters will eventually turn on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump when they ask themselves “Do we really want to give nuclear weapons to Donald Trump?”
Will said, “What’s going on is that those deemed least qualified to be president, are most qualified to do what the voters want done today, 160 days before the first votes are cast in Iowa, which is send a message. That was George Wallace’s engaging theme in 1968. He said, ‘Send them a message!’ The antecedent of the pronoun ‘them’ was anything you wanted it to be. So, that’s what they’re doing. This is a version of the 1960s fad called primal scream therapy, you’re supposed to shout, and get rid of all your repressed pain from childhood. This is, of course, particularly so for Mr. Trump, and what makes him fragile as a candidate is, first of all, he’s a one-trick pony. He consists of saying, I’m rich, everyone who disagrees with me is stupid, and all our problems are simple, if you’ll put me in charge. Second, people haven’t yet reminded themselves of the peculiar intimacy we live with our presidents now. They’re in our living room every night, they’re constantly in the national consciousness. And third, since we are, at the end of this, going to send a president, people have to say, ‘Do we really want to give nuclear weapons to Donald Trump?’ At which point, I think things change.”

The Fox panels are going with the 'ignore it and it'll go away' approach since they tried everything else. The Candidate Casino is especially telling. The know-it-alls refuse to even lay down a $5 chip when all the viewers lay the majority for Trump or go all in.

Let’s see, Will has been GOPe for his adult life, his wife works for a GOPe candidate. The GOPe candidates are collapsing, ie Bush, Walker and Rubio. The anti GOPe candidates are surging, ie Trump, Carson, Cruz as per the Fox poll.
Hence the hissy fit by the panel today.
When you look at the internals of the poll and the fundraising Cruz is superbly positioned.
Even if I am critical of Donald Trump, that rhetorical question is a little unfair. Haven’t we given nuclear weapons to Barack Hussein Obama, the affirmative action Hitler? Why should we worry about Donald Trump having nuclear weapons when we have already given them to Obama?

I read that a lot of it is stored in banks in Europe and the U.S. But there is an absence of anything in the news media on this question. The longer Libya remains politically unstable and chaotic the greater the opportunity for banks to steal this gold.

Well well, Wills wife working for Walker? Aint that a kick in the head. Good to know.
Will, and that turd Bayh were two of the principle reasons that I stopped watching FNS going on 2 years now. Mara Larson (sp) and Williams were bad enough, but those two blowhards were simply too much for me. The whole formula largely began to suck most of the time. I can read a George Will column and I regularly do, but I cannot listen to him talk on TV. He is a dork.
However, George needs to get a grip and realize the following:
Pakistan - the al Qaeda supporting, bin Laden hiders - have nukes. North Korea - vying with Iran for the most oppressive and insane regime on Earth - has nukes. Iran is on their way, if they already don't have them.
Bombastic as he is, I would trust Trump to have competent Sec Def and National Security advisors to handle tough scenarios.
George Will is trying real hard to be a mean girl.
Clearly Mr. Will has no use for Mr. Trump. Doubt this will have any affect.
