For the first time in a long time, in her life spent in the public eye, Hillary Clinton looked like she was enjoying herself.
The Democratic presidential candidate has had a fraught relationship with Iowa. After leading in the polls in her 2007 presidential race, she came third in the Iowa caucuses, trailing behind Barack Obama in what she saw as a personal defeat; a betrayal by the Hawkeye state.
But on Friday night at the Democratic Wing Ding dinner - an annual event designed to energise state volunteers for the party past grievances were set aside, as the crowd showed they were ready for Hillary, to borrow her campaign slogan.
The 2,000 strong room of people gave standing ovations, let out deafening cheers, and broke out into cries of Hillary, Hillary, Hillary, as the former first lady ripped into the Republican party, laid out her policies and sought to allay fears of scandal.
In a witty approach to the controversy surrounding the use of her private email server whilst she was secretary of state - and her subsequently deleting several thousand of the emails before they could be made public - Mrs Clinton told the audience that she recently began a Snap chat account: I love it, she quipped. Those messages disappear by themselves.

She delivered a mocking warning to voters not to be fooled believing that the other Republican contenders were any more moderate or reasonable than the firebrand celebrity frontrunner Donald Trump.
"Don't let the circus distract you, if you look at their policies, most of the other candidates are just Trump without the pizzazz or the hair," she said.

She eats pork?
Cannibalistic, isn’t it?
I watched Hellary stroll around, at Iowa. She and ¡Jeb! looked like they had to beg folks to walk around with them.
Trump had throngs of folks following him, trying to get pics and shake his hand.

Hillary may be a lying, corrupted crook, but shes their lying, corrupted crook because Hillary has a “D” after her name and thats all that really matters to them.
2,000 strong, standing ovations, deafening cheers ?
Hard to believe...Let's see the video evidence.
Whoever gave her that Snapchat line deserves a deep-fried Snickers
When I first read of her glib talkiness and very relaxed behavior, I wondered if she had had a glass or two ahead of hand.
Hillary Clinton looked like she was enjoying herself. —
They’ve got her doped up and practiced on script.
“The penalty for treason is no less that 10 years, or death.”
Could we compromise and do both? 10 years and then death.
She’s looking a little like Evis in the final days.
General Donald, shall we prepare the missiles?
What is she reading, her handler’s pre-prepared answers for questions, that might be asked about the pork chop?
“...2000 strong...”? Their judgment was not too “strong”.
With all her money you would think she would get some work done on her face. jFnKerry had a massive face lift, so it’s definitely done by the elite.
This shows that she doesn’t care, probably because she thinks the fix is in and she gets the presidency no matter what.
The headline should read ,,,,,,,,,,,The Hildabeast steals the DOG and PONY show at Iowa uninformed democRATS meet .
First name - Huma.
She's praying that her problems will disappear, but I think Barack Obama will not let that happen. She will be a useful scapegoat for Benghazi. And it will look like he is upholding the law and not letting her tarnish his legacy.
If I am right, the drip, drip, drip will continue.
Look at Me, I took a bite out of this pork chop just like the common man. Therefore you and you in the press should worship me.
