I get quite the kick from watching Trump destroying the status quo of politicking, and nobody knows how to react to someone operating outside of the political box because they have no experience doing so themselves. All they know is to follow the C-O-C orders. The only real reaction has come from the limp [noodle] media dispensing their 40 proof fueled venom.

He’s not pissing on their backs and telling them ‘It’s raining,’ he’s pissing on their backs just for the hell of it. He’s also upsetting the applecart of The Political Establishment/Chamber of Commerce and tying their guts up in knots, and having a good time while doing it. The Establishment has nobody like them, for they are all mere career politicians, who are all such a bunch of stiffs they couldn’t have a good time even if it was written into their scripts. It’s just gonna keep getting better...

When Trump finally arrived at the fair via helicopter, his aircraft repeatedly flew in circles overhead - at precisely the same time as Clinton was walking through the fair, greeting her supporters. The noise caused many people to look up. But when a reporter asked Clinton if she had noticed Trump's helicopter, she said she had not.

Yeah, right.

I am confused by the headline. Obama arrives by Marine helicopter most of the time (or a huge motorcade) and the headline never says that he stages a grandiose arrival - at least Trump is paying for his own helicopter.

Trump looks and acts more presidential than any of the others.

I have many reminisces of the Iowa State Fair. I grew up in Des Moines. I have been to the fair many times. Many times too young to be there by myself, according to today’s PC culture. In the 50’s I worked for the Iowa Department of Agriculture, when Clyde Spry was Secretary of Agriculture, and we manned their booth at the fair.

Later I had a booth at the fair, selling fancy fish tanks. Both of those experiences meant I was at the fair for the duration.

One time of those times I happened to acquire a CBS hat, with ‘CBS Operations’ on the cap. I had a video camera in hand, and people posed for me. Power of the Press!

We would have loved to what to see then what is now one of the great attractions of the Fair...politicians...

The Iowa State Fair, then and now, was one of the best. Not the largest, but one of the best!

And I have seen their best perform there...Joie Chitwood...man shot from cannon...sulky races...all manner of grandstand extravaganzas besides these...
