Heilemann: Gore 'Hates' Hillary, 'Huge' Problem for Her If He Runs
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 08/14/2015 3:45:53 PM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

This blog brought to you by Orville Redenbacher . . . One short segment on today's With All Due Respect packed plenty of explosive commentary. There was John Heilemann saying that Al Gore "hates" Hillary and that if he gets in the race would be a "huge" problem for her. Lending credence to Heilemann's "hates" claim is the fact that he mentioned having "spent a lot of time" with Gore in 2006. Translation: I was with him on those long nights when Al let his beard down and spoke straight from his globally-warmed heart.

A second noteworthy comment came from Mark Halperin, who opined that "everyone" in the Dem party doesn't "trust" going into the race with Hillary as the only establishment choice and that the vacuum "is going to be" be filled by someone. Hmm.

I don’t think there is one person that Hillary has ever dealt with whom she has not f***ed,

Bill Clinton.

Oh, wait, you meant figuratively.

No! Hatred and anger is so wrong!

Why cannot the Democrats just quit fighting eachother and sing Kumbaya!?

The fact that Biden’s name is even being thrown around is a testament to how weak the Dem’s back bench is right now. A couple of years ago he started making noises that he might run and everyone laughed at him until he shut up about it. Now he’s their great hope?

I think this is the consequence of two things. First, Obama has been so toxic, the Dems have been losing races for 8 years at the local, state and national levels. So the number of governors, senators, and reps that they can draw from are decimated. The second part is, this decimation happened just as power was in the middle of being transferred to the next generation of the party. So many of the ones that have held on to their seats are too old to make a move, while the up and comers got bounced out of office before they got enough experience to try for it.

Where are all the minority “superstars” these days: Booker, the Castro bros, DeVal Patrick, etc?

Hillary will bow out soon with “health problems.”

Bring on a Biden/Gore ticket, please.

If it was between Gore and Hillary, I’d vote for Hillary. Hillary is just fantastically corrupt. Gore, however, is a true believer.

Good show. Hillary should get out of politics and form a drinking club with Theresa Hines Kerry, an incorrigible alcoholic.

Imagine a debate between Trump or Cruz with oGre. His incredibly boring pedantic style would be ripped to shreds! And the A-hole is so dumb, he wouldn’t even realize it!

I’m pretty sure Bill was getting it regularly before they got married. I really don’t see them as couple. I suppose she recognized his talent for politics and he saw her as a good “office wife” who could help his career. She was certainly engaged in penny ante influence peddling in Arkansas for decades before they descended from the Ozarks to hit the big time, thanks to our worthless lamestream media.

Dan Quail actually wiped the floor with Gore in 1992 veep debate (only one, only on radio). Even the Boston Globe admitted it, though they made excuses for Gore.

I seriously doubt that Gore will run unless Hillary drops out.

He knows what really happened to Vince Foster, Ron Brown and perhaps dozens of others,

And he doesn’t want the same thing to happen to him.

Wishful thinking by someone. Gore is old and fat and no longer has any real following.

not to mention the fact that he sold his environmentally conscious TV network to a bunch of oil magnates. he pissed off any of the remaining "cult of global warming" people with that move.

Biden truly is the guy who is so dumb that he doesn't realize he isn't the genius he believes himself to be. back in the 80's he tried running and it came out he had plagiarized full speeches from socialist UK politician Neil Kinnock. he had a pattern of doing such things before his political career. if any republican had the history that Biden has... they'd have been run out of public office already by the MSM.

The Dems really are in trouble. Even though the issues are totally different this has the feel of a 1968 when Eugene McCarthy came out of nowhere and knocked LBJ off the ticket. I think Hillary loses to any plausible Republican, but Bernie Sanders would lose in a landslide. And he’s pulling big Dem crowds.
