Five Reasons Why Kasich-Rubio Is the Right 2016 Ticket
National Review ^ | August 14, 2015 | Myra Adams

Posted on 08/14/2015 6:06:56 AM PDT by C19fan

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the annual conservative RedState Gathering, where nine Republican presidential candidates gave fiery speeches. Although all were very impressive speakers, I kept applying the “Buckley rule” — these days, generally thought of as “nominate the most conservative candidate who is electable” — and did not feel confident that any of them could actually win the White House in 2016.

KASICH DOES NOT SCARE INDEPENDENTS, MODERATES, AND CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS

That was the thinking behind Romney in 2012, McCain in 2008, and Dole in 1996.

Why not stick with a proven strategy?

Five absolutely essential characteristics of an any Republican nominee.

1) Absolute loyalty to the United States and Americans. They come first, and they come exclusively before any foreign or internationalist power or foreign citizens.

2) They must *not* embrace the Whig idea that “What is good for business is good for America”. This is just as wrong for slavery as it is for internationalism, open borders and free trade agreements that hurt Americans.

3) They must realize that a hundred years of progressivist-socialism and fascist economics has devastated our economy and people. While endless Republican establishment types have been willing to ignore this in favor of “moving forward”, a new house cannot be successfully be built on a corrupt foundation. They need to systematically reverse this madness, while minimizing the harm doing so does to the people.

4) Part and parcel to this is slashing the size, scope and power of the federal government. Currently there are some 2,721,000 non-military federal employees. “Is firing 50% of them enough?”, should be a serious question.

5) The reorganization of the federal judiciary below the Supreme Court is totally in the purview of congress, and needs to be done, both structurally, and to retire a huge number of bad federal judges, which is faster than impeachment. Large parts of national law need to be “federalized”, in effect, returned to state jurisdiction.

where nine Republican presidential candidates gave fiery speeches

"Kasich" and "fiery speech" do not belong together in the same article.

If that is what the Republicans want, it is o.k. by me. I will not vote for them, but they do not mind that either. I will just write in Ted Cruz.

Uh oh, it’s no longer “The National Jeb Review.” Poor Jeb. Next will be “The Kasich News Channel - Featuring Megyn(Rested & Ready To Rumble)Kelly And Her Pet Eyelashes.”

“Vote Kasich - He’s For Gay Marriage!” is a winner for sure. Look out, Donald.....

Nominate Cruz.

Before doing that, don’t you think it would be wise to at least see how he performs in the primaries...?

Kasich could just defer to his fellow Ohioan, Boehner, and it would be the same.

Five Reasons Why Kasich-Rubio Is the Right 2016 Ticket, by Myra Adams

  1. I, Myra Adams, am an elitist, establishment tool who hates the masses.
  2. I am a Constitution-hating liberal who wants our country to be overrun with third worlders.
  3. I am a Bill of Rights-hating whacko who wants more Police State.
  4. The Republican party needs to move to the left of Democrats.
  5. I really don't want to see a Republican win.

Kasich/Rubio is The Cheap Labor Express ticket if it can’t be ¡Yeb!/another cheap labor importer.

The only thing that matters to The Cheap Labor Express and their employees in the RNC/GOP is preventing us from electing anyone who would stop them.

The Cheap Labor Express has more candidates in this race than in any previous race for a reason. They are extremely worried we just might be waking up to their game.

¡Yeb!
Rubberio
Grahamnesty
La Raza Rick Perry
NJFatBoy
Kasich
Pataki
Fiorina

Don’t vote for any of these people unless you want the illegal alien inundation to continue.

In all fairness, he’s my governor, and he has a tendency to rattle on at times. However, his stump speeches are rather entertaining - he injects humor into them. And, he has won Congress and 2 terms as Ohio governor - so I wouldn’t say he can’t win anything. I prefer other candidates for the presidency, but, John has done a decent job in OH.

But a popular sitting governor ought to be able to drum up some crucial votes for his party’s nominee, too.

what you say may in fact be true; but (and I’m just speaaking for myself here) I cannot stand John Kasich...and that is something I can’t stess strongly enough...

there are some politicians that just get under my skin and stay there, burrowing like some blood gorged tick, swelling to five times its normal size as it feeds on my political essence...Kasich, with his propensity to weep in public (must be something in the Ohio water) and his voluble support for the most damaging of hedonistic behaviors, just because it is the law of land, will drive me to electoral sillyland, and make me waste my vote on some non-entity...and that makes me mad.

In a technical sense, I defer to the author’s premise that the Blue Wall could be defeated by this ticket...but if it must happen, can’t we at least relegate the odious Kasich to second place...? You might at least save my vote...
