Carson Doubles Down: Abortions Are the Number One Cause of Death For Black People

Dr. Ben Carson spoke with Eric Bolling on The O’Reilly Factor about his recent controversial statements about how Planned Parenthood clinics are strategically placed in order to control the African American population. Carson began the discussion by reiterating his position that Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was a eugenist who was “was not enamored of black people.”

As Bolling asked him about abortion rates in black communities, Carson responded by saying it was a matter of deciding whether those black lives matter as much.

“The number one cause of death for black people is abortion, and I wonder if maybe some people might at some point become concerned about that and ask, why is that happening,” Carson said. He went on to continue his point about Sanger’s alleged eugenics leanings, saying that if Parenthood employees learned about her, they’d be less keen to defend their practices:

I encourage people to go and read about Margaret Sanger and go and read about the beginnings of this organization so that you know what you’re dealing with. One of the ways that they’re able to perpetrate the deceit is because people are not informed. The more people are informed, the less likely these kinds of things happen.

Bolling also asked Carson to respond to reports that he used fetal tissue during his career as a neurosurgeon. Carson dismissed the allegations, accusing the left of leaving out information and saying that he merely delivered the sample as part of a cell differentiation experiment.

“All pathology departments will have a whole array of tissues, from day one of conception until 99 years old,” Carson explained. “You’re making comparisons to derive examinations. Just because they get the fetal tissue means they should throw it out, that’s how science is advanced.”

Margaret Sanger was one of the most evil women of the 20th Century, if not THE most evil woman of the 20th Century. She was a Eugenicist who wanted to wipe out whole populations. For example, in this 12/10/1939 letter to Charles Gamble, founder of P&G, she discloses:

If you take a look at page 102 of the April, 1933 issue of the Birth Control Review (Sanger's Journal of her Birth Control League which, after the war, morphed into Planned Butcherhood) you will note an interesting article titled, Eugenic Sterilization: An Urgent Need. The doctor was Dr. Ernst Rüdin. In case you're not familar, Dr. Ernst Rüdin was honored by Hitler as being the "pioneer of the racial-hygienic measures of the Third Reich." He was one of the collaborators of Margaret Sanger.

Sanger was a child of the sexual revolution 50 years before the sexual revolution was even conceived. She believed the birth of a child was a shame and a large family was a catastrophe:

Many, perhaps, will think it idle to go farther in demonstrating the immorality of large families, but since there is still an abundance of proof at hand, it may be offered for the sake of those who find difficulty in adjusting old-fashioned ideas to the facts. The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.

I agree. He also went into the streets of Harlem with his message. That is Al Sharpton’s domain, I believe. Someone needs to reach the black community - they sure aren’t going to listen to whitey. Dr. Carson is intelligent, successful and understands their issues. He is an excellent role model - unlike the rappers and hip hop artists most of the black youth look up to. All they see is the bling and instant riches - not making something out of one’s life.

The plain truth is that abortion is the number one cause of death for all races of children. 1 in 3 mothers in the USA will kill at least one child in her life. We’re on a death spiral. The deadliest place in the whole world for a child is their own mother’s womb...the one place they should be the most protected.

Judy, you're so right. And once you get an incremental start, immediately lives are saved...while we continue the fight. Just think, many thousands would be saved if we could only prevent partial birth abortions. Then we can get third or second trimester babies saved...hundreds of thousands more....

Any legalistic holding out for the whole enchilada sacrifices lives along the way. Millions of them. Chances are we could have won this debate had Anita Bryant not become a major figure in the debate and held the all or nothing line in the sand.
