This is the part that people say that I don't get.
Fox already had the ratings by virtue of the this being the first debate, and with Trump in it. The nature of the questions themselves had nothing to do with getting ratings, the eyeballs were already there.
What they did was let their egos and hubris get the best of them during this unprecedented opportunity. Unless they thought these antics would entice and retain first-time viewers, they forgot their mandate and treated the debate as an extended Sunday show.

IMO, it was a disgusting display worthy of Candy Crowley.
In my opinion,she ruined her career. Her prepared question implying that he hated all women was an intention smear question without basis in fact. She took a verbal fight with the bitch “rosie” o’donald and extrapolated that to ALL WOMEN!@! That is the cheapest most Cickun $hit low life thing I have ever seen . It was totally known about by Ailes and her coach Stirewalt. Ailes got his ass chwed out,in my opinion my Murdock ( who has a good relationship with Trump) . I think that call was made under durress. Trump accepted that and did not run down anybody and said “Move on” But as far as I’m concern ,MyGyn must leave Fox.
Let me re-phrase it; All conservatives loved it when she was the only journalist who showed America what low-life scum Bill Ayers and Ward Churchill are.
I’m sure that all the Freepers who were wailing about “Bushbots” not so long ago will be quite pleased to take up their newly earned status as “Trumpettes”.
I don't know, but have suspected for a while, that Fox News might be using a GOPe/Karl Rove strategy to change the mix of its audience. Be less conservative, and lose some conservative viewers, and try to lure more moderate and center/left viewers.
Others have expressed the same thoughts on FR threads. And there are the stories that the Murdoch sons are more leftist then Rudolph and they are moving Fox more to the left.
There is no way I will ever watch Megan Kelly ever again, what a “How Great I am” performance at the GOP debate, plus her mocking GOD ALMIGHTY at that last question. I’m thankful of the way Ted Cruz answered her question about how GOD does talk to him every day through his daily reading of the BIBLE, and I could see the distaste written all over Cruz’s face at her mocking GOD.

I wouldn’t even say ALL conservatives. I find that there were aspects of her “brand” that had a tinge of investigative expertise and rightful questioning, but I never have really had a “thing” for her. I knew what she was when I saw her T&A pics, actually.
She’s hot and great looking, very smart and very scheming IMO. I never really ever needed her to tell me I think Bill or Ward were scum....I figured that out all by myself.
I’d add that I have never ‘tuned’ in to see her in any venue.
