Scott Walker weighed in on the latest Donald Trump kerfuffle on Twitter, saying there was “no excuse” for Trump’s remarks about Megyn Kelly. Walker has so far made a point of staying out of the fray, avoiding both engaging with Trump or responding to Trump’s attacks on him. But today he changed tack, taking a jab at the business mogul.

Yeah, this is incredible.

Freepers are backing a big-government, eminent domain-loving, single-payer healthcare supporting leftist like Trump over Walker, a true union-buster with a conservative record as a Governor in a blue state.

The Republican Party and this site is quickly collapsing because "conservatives" really don't know what they stand for, and are caught up in the merging of the celebrity cult(ure) and politics.

Having said that - I wish Trump would stop all this tweeting and having to respond to every comment someone makes. I wondered yesterday if it was really Donald doing the tweeting. Yesterday, Rush made the same comment. So, I’m wondering if it is one of his people doing this. If so - they need to stop ASAP

Why??? To stop means you're letting someone else define you, set the agenda, and create the narrative. Every time Trump puts out a tweet he's attacking someone who attacked him.

These people going after Trump are a pack of wolves. They want to tear him apart. IF he lets even one of them get away with taking a chunk out of him the rest will smell blood and close in for the kill. But IF he stands his ground and hurts each and everyone that comes at him they'll learn to leave him alone.

Honestly, I can buy Trump’s take. Because I’ve been there. You say or mutter something innocent, and a lot of nimrods around you immediately interpret it as some kind of smutty double-entendre.

It’s irritating, but it’s become a part of modern American culture and language, where virtually every comment or piece of dialogue uttered seems to carry an ulterior or ironic meaning. It’s really seeped in, that combination of detatched irony and overall trashiness, into the fabric of the culture.

Exactly that was my thought too. Only somebody with a twisted mind would take the statement that way. I didn’t.

Fine, but he could stop the name calling. I don’t like it. It’s so juvenile.

Or more likely, you just don't "get it."

Any Republican who attempts to defend the Fox bimbette I no longer consider a serious candidate.

Come on, piling on is how you get rid of someone. Just wait, these same tactics will be used on a few others.

They are gearing up.

...but he needs to back off and get back on message.

I’m seeing a new meme/message from the Trump camp and it is absolutely incredible and timely: He is making public war against Political Correctness.

It’s about bleeping time someone with a public podium did.

I think that some of these politicians need to re-read the “Tar Baby” story. Walker just stepped into up to his earlobes. Joined Carley.

That downgrades Walker in my view. I am sick to death of the shield women have had “because they are a woman.” To me, if you’re going to step into the ring with a man, then you get what’s coming to you.

What is it about a man being a man and Trump being Trump? You could say it is per se unpolitically correct when a man decides to h*** with all the b*** s*** and I’m going to be who I am. It says a lot about how far popular culture has gone down the road to eviscerating masculinity and manhood, not to mention eviscerating the true, soft qualities of womanhood.

Trump being Trump is per se a slap in the face to political correctness. I love every minute of it.

I see a possible Trump-Fiorina gunfight coming. I don’t think Fiorina will win. To me, it’s time for the women’s’ “trump” card of winning the argument because she’s a woman needs to be gone. I hope it does. Trump may help with that.

Unless those who bought tickets specifically to hear Trump demand a refund. It could turn around on EE and bite him in the checkbook.

No doubt Trump knows what Alinsky said about "keeping up the pressure."

You’re sure of that. He must have meant Wallace was OTR when he said the same thing about him a minute or two later.
