The most-searched person in Google in the first half hour of the GOP debate? Ted Cruz — by far.

So, this thing slowed down a bit, right? We start off with Donald Trump and Rand Paul scrapping and then Trump and Megyn Kelly tussling and then ... the brakes.
But people still were checking candidates out. In the second half hour, it was Ben Carson and Marco Rubio's turn to get a little interest. Nothing huge; nothing like what Ted Cruz got in the first half hour. But -- something. People were paying attention when Carson gave a sharp response on terrorism and Rubio talked about how to grow business in response to someone's question from Facebook.
This thing is winding down.

Pttf, I’m glad my search didn’t register.

Ted Cruz is a man of Destiny.
Lot of folks have commented that Cruz has to act more like Donald to get more attention.
No, he doesn’t. Just the opposite, as we can see.
Competence, confidence, and straight forward— folks can sense a man of conviction and are drawn to him.

Senator Cruz, despite being ignored, was a winner. Trump was shown to not any idea of how fix our problems, to have been on both sides of many issues, to not be aware of the problems of single payer health care and to be a willing participant in political bribery.

I think Cruz won me totally, I am disappointed with everyone’s performance other than Cruz.
My rank is, Cruz Carson by far, then everyone else.
My biggest disappointment is Walker.

I pray you are right about folks, Cruz is all those things and more...........I am all for CRUZ and take Trump when and if I have to do so.
Trump did all right in light of the fact they had him play defense all evening. .

Still supporting Cruz.
I will admit Rubio moved up. He projects positivity the most.
And earlier,Carly Fiorina was very impressive.
Cruz has the best record of conservative values for me though.
A true consistent record. He will not shrink from pressure on those values. I hope he polishes his positive upbeat message though. Not to please people like me, but to appeal to the mushy middle that has to help us elect him.
