Big Donors Warn Candidates On Eve Of Debate: “Take Trump Out”
dc whispers ^ | August 5, 2015

Posted on 08/06/2015 9:14:13 AM PDT by Red Steel

Though the Fox News promos state it is a debate of Republican candidates, most of the network’s on-air personalities have admitted publicly it has turned into the Donald Trump show as the top GOP contender has become the single most referenced topic on the minds of everyone following the 2016 Race for the White House.

That reality is not sitting well with GOP power brokers who are said to have made it clear to operatives linked to a variety of candidate camps that Donald Trump cannot be allowed to appear to win tomorrow night’s debate. Some are said to have taken an even more aggressive stance by indicating Trump’s Republican rivals are to “take him out” tomorrow night.

Trump has shocked the GOP establishment with his currently growing base of support based largely on his straight talk and a repeated promise to “Make America Great Again.”

That dominance is said to be facing its most focused challenge tomorrow night as Mr. Trump will be target #1 for a number of GOP hopefuls who have been told their own presidential hopes will be finished if they do not help in breaking the Trump momentum once and for all. This threat is said to come from an assortment of Wall Street and business interests concerned over the potential volatility of a Trump political machine – volatility that might make him “unmanageable” should he actually go on to become the Republican nominee.

It should also be noted some of these high-powered donors are helping to finance the campaigns of BOTH Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush. Presently, Donald Trump represents the single greatest threat to their intention of controlling the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

Of the candidates who are said to have been given their anti-Trump marching orders last night, one was apparently told with the greatest sense of urgency – Senator Marco Rubio

Senator Rubio is currently sitting near the bottom of the top-tier candidate rankings with just 5% support among Republican voters. He was not so long ago viewed by some to be a legitimate contender for the GOP nomination. If he is to regain that former momentum (and the all-important campaign dollars that come to a real contender) he must prove himself to the political donor class tomorrow night by coming out aggressively against Mr. Trump.

It was reportedly the Rubio campaign that was specifically given the directive to, “take Trump out” during this week’s debate.

He’s a total loser and Hispanic ass-kisser. I’ve never seen a presidential candidate totally ignore taxpayers and US citizens .

The country won’t be voting for Bush anytime soon (sorry Karl), my bet is that Walker is the choice of the autocrats, and Kasich is the choice of the banks.

pub party may be crap, and I could care less about them....

I'll remind all of you that Perot did the same thing to the conservative movement that trump is doing now....he is working for the rat party, he is a rat, he's donated millions to Hiltery's slush fund, and his only purpose is to take votes away from some pub candidate so Hitlery can win....

I don't care who wins the White House, or Hut, as long as its not another democrat......

THINK for a change freepers......

3rd world immigrants have moved the USA to the left and have destroyed this country. See my other post on this thread.

Immigration is the most important issue. And amnesty definitely is the worst thing that could happen to the USA

P*ss him off and he will go third-party. Big Donors and their Jeb Poodle finish a distant third. Enjoy life under Prez Liz Warren there, big donors.

Of course the big donors want Trump out of the race!!! Donald Trump is the only POTUS candidate in the entire country that is not beholden to any “BIG DONOR” anywhere!!! And for the overwhelming majority of Americans voters...the fact that Trump is nobody’s man, but his own, is absolutely “terrific” news for all Americans and our country....GO Donald Trump!!!

“Ted Cruz seems to be pro H1-B. Deal breaker. “

It is for me too, but I think he can learn that is an unwise choice for America and maybe not support it.

We need to stop immigration legal and illegal .

The US has several internal enemies of the state. Two of them are Obama and “Big Donors.” They care not a whit about the nation, only their own selfish interests.

what a lot of pundits and poetical advisers for politicians don’t realize is that with the internet we can now monitor who is pulling strings of the different politicians and those that traditionally have been selling us out. it use to be a politician could just get up and lie. tell us what they thought we wanted to hear and they would get are vote. now we can look at the voting record of the politician. we can read about who they are meeting with. all of this leads us to look at trump and see that the ones screaming for his heads are the one most people hate in politics.

I am not a trump supporter but I understand how come he has his support......I will be cheering on Scoot walker in the debate

I was very surprised by a particular Fox News piece last night.

Apparently, the lion’s share of every pol’s campaign war chest comes from one or two donors giving to their super PAC.

Every. One.

Except Trump.

They don’t understand the feedback loop. When you attack Trump, you make us like him more and you are playing on his field when you open with an attack on him.

Amateurs.

You are entitled to your opinion and I respect it as far as your right to a choice, but I’ve been there done that twice now and I will not under any circumstance do it again.

There is no difference between a Jeb Bush or a Hillary Clinton, or any Democrat for that matter. To argue about extent of evil and timetables is pointless. They are the same.

That plaint ain’t gonna wash anymore. Sorry, you’re not going to get any agreement here from me.

“It is for me too, but I think he can learn that is an unwise choice for America and maybe not support it.”

He goes jihad against PP for selling black baby parts, but he doesn’t see how importing people from overseas to take middle class jobs from folks at Disney, PSE, IBM, and other places is killing the country economically?

There’s no economic, political, or sociological argument for displacing middle class families, and in so doing, breaking them up. What would convince him otherwise?

That reality is not sitting well with GOP power brokers who are said to have made it clear to operatives linked to a variety of candidate camps

The fact that this sentence refers to real people who exist in the real world (not just paranoid fantasies) illustrates the complete corruption of our supposedly republican form of government. Neither the Democrat Party nor the Republican Party serve "We, the People" ... both serve their own interest in gaining, maintaining, and expanding their own power. Trump is a threat to them, personally. He upsets their little system far more even than Ted Cruz.

One of the moderators is bound to bring up the Bush comment calling Trump buffoon, clown and asshole to Trump.

If Trump turns to Jebbie and says...”Don’t worry about it Jeb, it’s just caused by desperation and I will forget you ever called me those names”

Bye Bye Bush.
