Room to grow works both ways. Walker won’t be the nominee. Rubio will be lucky to still have a senate seat when this is over.

Everybody is talking Trump, sure he is going to have unfavorable percentage. Who posts about Rubio here at FR? No one. Who posts about Walker here at FR, besides you? No one. In an election today Trump would break election records, Rubio and Walker wouldn’t even be blips on the election radar.

“A poll coming out of nowhere favoring Rubio is bullshit”.

Rubio is 44 but looks 15. Not presidential, but then again twice the Urkel clone from Kenyan was elected. You might see Rubio on the under-card of someone’s ticket thinking he could help carry Florida. He’ll never be on the top of the ticket.

Well, it isn't going to be held today, so we'll see how well your predictions pan out.

He help place Mr Prebius as Head of the most destructive ,corrupt, and anti conservative RNC in our lifetime .

Walker has placed the smear merchant Dayspring in his PAC !
George Will was caught writing Walker Propaganda column until Someone out his wife as part of Team Walker.

Walker is owned by the same Billionaire - KStreet money bags his buddy Prebius has sold the RNC too.

The poll you posted was today’s numbers not November 2016. Trump would win today so the poll is meaningless.

...Walker has placed the smear merchant Dayspring in his PAC !...

Everything you say is discredited when you spout lies like that.

Walker cannot have anything to do with PACs but you know that as I have told you every time I see that you're still repeating it.

-----

Super PACs

Super PACs, officially known as “independent-expenditure only committees,” may not make contributions to candidate campaigns or parties, but may engage in unlimited political spending independently of the campaigns. Unlike traditional PACs, they can raise funds from individuals, corporations, unions, and other groups without any legal limit on donation size.

**************

“WAUKESHA, Wisconsin — GOP presidential candidate Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker threw anti-conservative Brad Dayspring, who’s working for his Super PAC Unintimidated PAC, under the bus on Sean Hannity’s television program on Monday evening in an hour-long interview after announcing his White House run.

“Let me ask you about a hire of yours that has angered conservatives, it’s come up a lot in the news—Brent Bozell talks about Brad Dayspring as someone who besmirches the reputations of conservatives, that he’s paid to do the ugly work—do you pay attention to any of that, those criticisms?” Hannity asked Walker.

“Well, he doesn’t work for me, he works for the Super PACs out there and by ‘he doesn’t work for me’ I can’t tell any Super PACs anything,” Walker replied.

Gov. Walker took on the public teachers and government employee unions, one of the most entrenched special interests in the country, and won...then he took them on again in a recall election full of dirty tricks and beat them again. Finally he stood for re-election, campaigned on his reform record, beat off a ginned up criminal probe and won a third time. All this was accomplished in the past five years.

The notion that Walker can't play “hardball” is demonstrably false.

Well I guess The Donald can be thankful nobody likes him as he’s number one in all the polls. :-)

Well, with those numbers, Trump’s already in the club house, and Walker has 9 holes left to play.

There is a huge difference in playing "hardball" at the state level than at the national level. He was fantastic at the state level. So was Palin . . . for a while.

The national stage requires you to take on liberalism at its core, for why it's bad for all Americans. (For example, Trump did this with the illegal alien stuff by showing how its criminal elements kill people everywhere. That connected instantly. Because Walker has no money to speak of compared to Bush or even Cruz, he is beholden NOT to alienate the Bush $$ guys.

Happy to admit if I'm wrong, but we'll watch the debates. I don't think he can play hardball at the national level because he just doesn't have the $$ that would insulate him.

And BTW, as to the topic of the thread, if he does appear to play “hardball” nationally, his negatives, by nature, will rise proportionately. That’s part of why Trump’s negatives are a little higher than the others. So he can’t have it both ways.

Trump is the horse in a race that sets the speed while you wait for the better horses to pass him.

Good grief...the public employee reform fight in Wisconsin WAS a national level confrontation and the Democrats threw everything but the kitchen sink at defeating Walker's plan. When that failed, they went after him directly. It was a national news story for months and everyone from the Koch brothers to Richard Trumpka got involved.

Walker made his bones in that fight and the fact he's got a smile on his face and an aw shucks attitude when he slides the knife between your ribs doesn't make it hurt less.

Ask any liberal...

The battle was national, no doubt. But this is a different fight. Now HE---not commentators on the radio or TV, but Walker---needs to show how that state-level fight will translate into taking on unions everywhere. I don't follow him that closely, but have you heard him state this?

Let's watch tonight and see if I'm right.
