Almost Every Major Poll Shows Bernie Sanders Challenging or Defeating Clinton and Republicans
Huff Po ^ | August 5, 2015 | H. A. Goodman

Democrats who are proud of their progressive values are filling arenas to hear Sanders speak in a direct manner (while others dodge questions) on contentious issues like Keystone XL and the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement. While the FBI is currently investigating the email security of one candidate, Bernie Sanders is narrowing Clinton's lead nationally and defeating Republicans in other polls. Like Brent Budowsky writes in The Hill:

The fact that Sanders beats Walker by 6 to 7 points, depending on whether all voters or likely voters are counted -- a near-landslide margin in a general election -- makes it clear that the Sanders surge is more than a surge against Donald Trump, but move that makes him competitive with all candidates.

With Sanders already surging in Iowa, and now virtually tied with Clinton in New Hampshire, it's important to remember that Vermont's Senator is doing something most observers once thought to be an impossibility. He has a great chance of winning the first two contests on the road to the Democratic nomination, while his challenger deals with subpoenas from Congress and other scandals. Every classified email uncovered by the FBI dooms one candidate, while paving the way for Sanders.

In several matchups in Iowa and Colorado, Bernie Sanders runs as well as, or better than Clinton against Rubio, Bush and Walker. Hillary Clinton's numbers have dropped among voters in the key swing states of Colorado, Iowa and Virginia. She has lost ground in the horserace and on key questions about her honesty and leadership.

Honesty and a genuine value system are the primary reasons Bernie Sanders is gaining in the polls. Bernie Sanders reminds voters of an ideal. It's this ideal that will enable Sanders to surge past Clinton and towards the Democratic nomination.

Michael Savage said last week he was praying for a “Shootout between Socialism and Capitalism”..... between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump.

Although capitalism should win such a shootout without even trying, it must be argued deftly, eloquently, and dare I say it must be argued "compassionately?" Historical facts must be presented in such a way so as to show how capitalism benefits all who participate, including those in the middle class.

I think it would be a hard stretch to see an old socialist elected president.

If all Republicans and conservatives do is call someone or something "socialistic," Sanders can indeed win. Sadly, the word "socialism" doesn't resonate with people, they have no clue about historical facts around socialism. They probably see it as just the same as capitalism, but more "fair" to workers. Most people don't associate capitalism with freedom, and socialism as slavery to whatever body that sees fit to seize and distribute the goods.

IOW, the FBI is going to be coming under attack by the Partisan Media Shills. Bernie Sanders is a grassroots candidate, but its artificial turf, and only made possible by the taxpayer-funded leftwing NPR. Right now there's an apparent establishment Demwit push for Joe Biden; I suspect that's being done to put the spotlight on two things, 1) that this is the only candidate they'll be getting if they don't support Hitlery, and 2) that Sanders is not an acceptable candidate. That would scare anyone with a brain, but whether it has an impact on the lemmings is still unclear.

BTW, FWIW, it appears from what I heard today that there are three Democratic presidential primary debates now scheduled, beginning this October. This seems to be a change in position for the DNC, which had previously said NO DEBATES. Is HRC’s control of the DNC weakening as her campaign flounders?

Perhaps your previous info was faulty. It seems unlikely they would say there would be no debates.

Her opponents are complaining that the schedule favors Hillary.
