Stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer is teaming up with New York Sen. Chuck Schumer to call for tighter gun control.
She will join the senator on Monday as he unveils a three-part plan that would make it harder for violent criminals and mentally ill to obtain guns.
They cited the recent shooting in a Louisiana movie theater that killed two women and injured nine others during a screening of the movie "Trainwreck" starring Amy Schumer.
Amy Schumer is the senator's cousin.

While these shootings are tragic, does anyone ever consider that there are shootings every day in Chicago, Baltimore, and most other big city ghettos??? The loss of life is equally tragic in those places.
What are we saying? A death in a movie theater shooting is a calamity, but the loss of life on the streets of America’s cities, including Schumer’s own New York, are not newsworthy??? Aren’t all human lives equal???
What’s with these SHJs anyway. Is WW II just a distant memory?
Amy Schumer goes to a shrink. She said so when being interviewed by Jerry Seinfeld on his show. Maybe Chuck should also go.
Over this past weekend, 3 people were killed in Chitcago, and two people were killed in Baltimore. A dozen more people in each city were wounded.

Ms. Schumer’s primary talent appears to be the ability to never stop talking.
I strongly suspect that the shooters and victims in these cases were all black.
That gets me too. Black lives matter, we are told, but, apparently black lives only matter if a black person is shot by a white man in a church, a white policeman, or the invented “white Hispanic” ethnicity.
Black lives snuffed out by other blacks are ignored in the black lives matter movement.
