Swift Fuels is developing and has for sale @ 3 airports in MI and IN a 94 MON no-lead no ethanol fuel for Gen-Av aircraft. I can’t wait until the expand the dealerships and maybe I can get a can or 2 for the lawnmower so it can run right. This ethanol sucks....

Because corn is used in ethanol production, it raises the price of corn and raises the price of beef, pork, and chicken.

Since 1980, no candidate has won the Iowa caucuses without kowtowing to the ethanol lobby, sometimes trampling their supposed free-market principles in the process.
In 2000, Senator John McCain staunchly opposed the ethanol mandate, but by 2008 had flipped, announcing that he had become a strong supporter of what he now called a vital alternative energy source.
In the run-up to the 2012 Iowa caucuses, Mitt Romney smiled for the cameras, ear of corn in hand, to assure Des Moines voters: I support the subsidy of ethanol.

One group of people embraced E-85 and loves it. The guys and gals running supercharged and turbocharged street racers. The stuff is $2.50 a gallon race gas.
I replaced a blown head gasket in a Supra with a huge turbo, 1000 cc/minute injectors and 26 pounds of boost. The huge injectors were running a 70% duty cycle at full honk. The gas gauge went counter clockwise almost as fast as the speedo went clockwise. 720 RWHP, it would smoke the tires from a punch in 3rd gear. That test drive was a "joy ride".
