Breaking News : Memphis Officer Dies after Traffic Stop Shooting

10:45 p.m. UPDATE:
FOX13 has confirmed with multiple sources that the officer who was shot during a traffic stop has died. MPD Director Toney Armstrong will be holding a press conference at Regional One soon.
UPDATE:
According to MPD PIO Karen Rudolph, a call came in at approximately 9:18 p.m.
Here is what we know so far: -Communications was advised that additional officers were needed in the area of Cottonwood and Perkins. -Officer was conducting a traffic stop when he was shot by an occupant of the vehicle

Last news update called an “all hands” to catch this guy. That seems a little extreme given their usual response when a civilian is murdered.
Maybe they are worried about “revenge” murders of cops.

Memphis is a dangerous hell hole. The City Council has to go after a dead man because their policies to the living there are failing miserably and they have to deflect attention to the crimes. Its the NAACP MO.
Years ago when Hooks was embezzling money from the NAACP, he did the same thing until his crimes were so egregious that they couldn't be ignored.

The city of Memphis is over 70% black. Over 40% of the businesses are owned by blacks. The city government and courts are run by blacks. The schools are run by blacks. Over 83% of the trasactions at my local Kroger involve EBT cards.
