Trump’s Campaign Manager: We’ll Release Specific Policies When We Want To
BuzzFed ^ | July 30, 2015 | Andrew Kaczynski

Posted on 08/01/2015 11:19:25 AM PDT by Hojczyk

Donald Trump’s campaign manager says Trump has specific policy positions ready for release at a time and method of the campaign’s choosing.

“Candidly? They’re all done,” Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told The John Fredericks Show this week.

Lewandowski said the mainstream media will not dictate to them how they should release their specific policies, reiterating that the policy positions are in place.

“They’re done and we’re waiting for our schedule and we won’t be dictated to by the mainstream media to tell us what we should or shouldn’t be doing and how these positions should be put out front,” he stated. “We have been held to a different standard in this race than every other candidate and so, you know, what we are not going to do is to allow them to drive the narrative of how our campaign should be run.”

So far, Trump has said his health care plan is to “repeal and replace [ObamaCare] with something terrific,” that he’ll build a fence across the U.S.-Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it, and that he’ll defeat ISIS because he “would hit them so hard your head would spin.”

“First, they said, ‘Mr. Trump’s comments about illegals are incendiary and he should recant those,’” added Lewandowski. “And he said, ‘Absolutely not. I’m standing by them.’ And then they said, ‘Oh, this or that,’ and every single time he has stood up to them and pushed back against the elite media and the people like that. So we will not be dictated to of how best to run the campaign or how best to move forward with our plan to make America great again.”

“Rambles incoherently?” You mean better so far than any other candidate, including Cruz? Because he’s crushing them all.

Why would I want everyone to know my plans a year and a half ahead of schedule? Every other candidate would take what I have said and run with it for their plans...

I fully agree with your entire posting. I planned to post something similar, but you beat me to it!

It makes no sense to release details of your plans to the competition and media. The other candidates will steal ideas and try, along with the media, to show your plans have no merit.

Tin Mouth and a lot of others would wet their pants if they ever even met Trump in his office.

Stay tuned. Trump’s book, “Time to Get Tough” has very detailed specifics on his solutions to the major problems facing the country.

His tax plan, that has already been published, is the best I have seen by anyone in any campaign.

How about Judge Jeanine Pirro as Press Secretary? She would run rings around the MSM.

A new edition of Trump’s book is expected to be released the same day as the debates. The review of the 2011 version stated that it was “more detailed” and had more specifics in it— along with 250 end notes— than any thing else put forward by any of the candidates.

It seems likely that Trump is playing rope-a-dope here.

The Donald is into marketing, the rest are into “ looking nice, and saying nothing of real substance”. He didn’t get where he is by not paying attention to planning and execution.

Please tell us the specifics of Cruz’s promise to increase H1-B immigration.
I’d be glad to hear them.

******************

Here’s Cruz on his request, such as it is.

May 14, 2013
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) today presented an amendment to the
Gang of Eight immigration bill that would improve our nation’s legal immigration system
by increasing high-skilled temporary worker visas, called H-1B visas, by 500 percent. The measure
would effectively address the needs of our nation’s high-skilled workforce by helping
meet the growing demand for workers in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics
(STEM) fields. It will also make block grants available to states to promote STEM education
efforts and increase domestic STEM professionals. The committee voted against the amendment
4 to 14 with every Democrat voting against it on a party-line vote.

Which puts Ted squarely behind one more group that replaces U. S. Citizen workers. It increases the presence of newly arrived non-loyal from birth people into highly sensitive fields in our R&D community.

Oh yes, Ted is specific. There’s no doubt at all what he’s up to.

H1-Bs were always designed to do just this. It was to bring in talent from overseas. Sadly, we have seen exactly how they have been exploited to displace U. S. Citizens in the work environment.

Ted doesn’t know this?

I like Ted, but this is a terrible thing to advocate for.

Sound awfully lofty, until you read what it winds up doing.

We have very well qualified people laid off from the technical sector, and the companies claim they just can’t cut it with new technology. Well, they were just cutting it until weeks or months before.

So H1-Bs are brought in, and we pay out unemployment for our workers who at worst simply needed some short retraining or apprentice-ships.

You have absolutely no basis for such claims—I take it you just don’t like Trump.

Really, for some one so smart, I think you are going to be proven so wrong. Trump has been considering running for president to straighten out the fiscal and foreign policy mess since 1988. In an interview at that time he told the host. When the time comes that I feel I have to run.. I will run, and I will win.... 1988, dude

I think he’s very serious. He has not taken on mega projects as he has and brought them in under time and under budget and made billions by NOT doing his homework, Be prepared to be proven WRONG

We were there at the Trump building in downtown Chicago. Prettiest, most impressive building in the city.

LOL…

Meaning, they don’t have any specific policies. If they are being questioned about it already, it shows this could be Trump’s weakness. SPECIFICS.

For a man that has thought about running for years, you would have thought he’d know his plans, already . . .

I held my breath waiting for Reagan to announce his position on Kemp-Roth before I was able to breathe a sigh of relief and become enthusiastically for him. But then, Reagan was the first candidate I voted affirmatively for, rather than negatively against his opponent.

Carter was so bad that he deserved to be voted against, without question - but in Reagan we had a candidate to vote for, as well.

Trump’s campaign is in its rights to take the attitude that the journalism monopoly does not control what Trump says, or when he says it. OTOH, “Hope and Change” will not carry the day in the Republican primaries. We understand, we understood before the election of Obama, that change is more of a threat than it is a promise. Dynamite will produce a lot of change in a hurry - but that change destroy value rather than adding value except in very controlled circumstances.

Why would the MSM beat him up if, as you say, he gains traction for WHAT he says...

He won’t be beaten up unless he says something stupid...I mean, that is why he is popular right now, isn’t it?

War plans don’t survive the first engagement, and if he’s policy-specific now and has to change it at ground level, homosoc trolls will brand him a liar, just as they branded him a liar at the border when he said he would fence some of it, not all of it...LIAR LIAR...well, there are things like geographic obstructions, cities and buildings that don’t permit a wall.

Of course he’s giving generalities. Why would you give specifics to an unscrupulous enemy?
