Trump’s Campaign Manager: We’ll Release Specific Policies When We Want To
BuzzFed ^ | July 30, 2015 | Andrew Kaczynski

Donald Trump’s campaign manager says Trump has specific policy positions ready for release at a time and method of the campaign’s choosing.

“Candidly? They’re all done,” Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told The John Fredericks Show this week.

Lewandowski said the mainstream media will not dictate to them how they should release their specific policies, reiterating that the policy positions are in place.

“They’re done and we’re waiting for our schedule and we won’t be dictated to by the mainstream media to tell us what we should or shouldn’t be doing and how these positions should be put out front,” he stated. “We have been held to a different standard in this race than every other candidate and so, you know, what we are not going to do is to allow them to drive the narrative of how our campaign should be run.”

So far, Trump has said his health care plan is to “repeal and replace [ObamaCare] with something terrific,” that he’ll build a fence across the U.S.-Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it, and that he’ll defeat ISIS because he “would hit them so hard your head would spin.”

“First, they said, ‘Mr. Trump’s comments about illegals are incendiary and he should recant those,’” added Lewandowski. “And he said, ‘Absolutely not. I’m standing by them.’ And then they said, ‘Oh, this or that,’ and every single time he has stood up to them and pushed back against the elite media and the people like that. So we will not be dictated to of how best to run the campaign or how best to move forward with our plan to make America great again.”

LOL...

Meaning, they don’t have any specific policies. If they are being questioned about it already, it shows this could be Trump’s weakness. SPECIFICS.

For a man that has thought about running for years, you would have thought he’d know his plans, already...

Hillary did it definitely, she said that if you want to know her specific policies, you’ll have to elect her first. When it comes to Hillary’s brain, you have to elect her to find out what’s in it.

A new edition of Trump’s book is expected to be released the same day as the debates. The review of the 2011 version stated that it was “more detailed” and had more specifics in it— along with 250 end notes— than any thing else put forward by any of the candidates.

It seems likely that Trump is playing rope-a-dope here.

Of course he has specific policies on the table. That’s how he’s lived his whole life. He is the ultimate planner. He dreams this stuff.

If I were running as POTUS and as popular as Trump is, I wouldn't release anything until after the first debate...

Why would I want everyone to know my plans a year and a half ahead of schedule? Every other candidate would take what I have said and run with it for their plans...

Everything Trump has released so far, Sanders and others have picked up on....if you don't like Trump, Cruz, Sanders, shillary then don't like them, if you do, then support what they are doing.

Remember, Trump is a businessman and they don't tell you everything at once, a little here and a little there, why would you want some other businessman taking your plans and leaving you in the dust??? Common sense maybe????

How old are you? Ten?

There isn’t a presidential candidate in my lifetime that laid down the exact specific details of how he would accomplish things that he advocated for.

Are you so young, or stupid that you don’t remember or realize that?

Trump's campaign manager said the mainstream media will not dictate to them how and when they should release their specific policies.

“They (the MSM) are done....we won’t be dictated to....the mainstream media does not tell us what we should or shouldn’t do....or tell us that our positions should be put out front,” he stated.

“We have been held to a different standard than every other candidate in this race.....what we are not going to do is to allow the media to drive the narrative of how our campaign should be run.”

============================================

Now I'm dreaming of who will be Trump's press secretary...
(that's after Josh Earnest is drawn and quartered).

Another Trump hater, can spot ‘em a mile away. Who’s your candidate? Have they laid out their strategy yet?

All you can say is of course he has plans because of his business...seriously?

Business is not politics. Listen to his interviews..he is getting better, but still rambles incoherently.

Dealing with people is what he does well...

I wonder if that means to find out his policies we have to ...buy the book. That’s different from any other campaign that I remember.

We expect our candidates to have more than talking points...especially going into debates.

Look at Cruz...he has specifics...

But, I guess it would take a 10 year old to realize this.

It isn’t my fault you blindly follow rhetoric.

Ah, I question Trump so I am a hater.

How about this...you support Trump, so you aren’t Conservative. See, we can both play that game.

Yes, my guy has given specifics...his name, Ted Cruz.
